JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for daily operations in Titletown’s park and plaza, including event spaces, daily programming, and skating + tubing. Responsibilities further involve general maintenance within Titletown comprising of contracted maintenance, projects, and improvements. This internship provides the opportunity to learn techniques and management skills necessary for providing support to the general operations of multi-use development and public facilities. Intern will be required to work 40 hours per week, plus weekends and evenings based on events.
Internship timeframe: June 2026 - June 2027. The official start/end date is subject to change and will be dictated by the Packers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set-up and clean-up of all programs and events held in Titletown.
- Assist with staff supervision during programs, events, and skating + tubing.
- Work closely with other departments to gather information for upcoming programs and events.
- Prepare event plans and ensure accurate information is made available to facilities staff.
- Compile detailed event notes into actionable post-event recaps to aid in future planning.
- Perform administration of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software.
- Perform routine facility checks and report observations and issues to Facilities Manager.
- Monitor completion status of maintenance projects and work orders.
- Follow up on work order status with external clients as needed.
- Document and report on current trends and new developments in the industry.
- Perform continuous improvement projects to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Assist in supervision of contracted maintenance projects.
- Assist with the maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.
- Conduct general preventative building maintenance.
- Assist with the installation and removal of ice rink and tube conveyor.
- Remove snow from various hard-scape locations.
- Operate the following equipment: fork truck, aerial lifts, snowplows, skid loaders, and carts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled or graduated from a facilities management, sports management, business administration or related college program.
- Interest in facilities management, maintenance and event operations.
- General knowledge of the equipment and tools utilized in facilities management.
- Possess a solid work ethic, willingness to learn, and good communication skills.
- Ability to work hours that include first and second shifts, some weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and events as required.
- Possess resourcefulness, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Must hold a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to reach, bend, climb, and lift on a frequent basis.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions which can include temperature and humidity extremes.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
- Ability to push and/or pull heavy objects.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and lift, for extended periods of time.
- Operates in a professional environment.
TRAVEL: Some travel between buildings is required.
SUPERVISES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
