JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for optimizing the overall digital marketing strategy, planning, measurement, and channel activation efforts via outbound marketing channels. This role will leverage transactional and fan profile data, research and channels to deliver an exceptional digital fan experience for the organization. This position serves as a resource to all Packers business units and partners and works closely with them to ensure that digital marketing is aligned with and support their business plans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the marketing campaign process from initial request submission to deployment with a focus on Packers’ outbound marketing channels (e.g., email, SMS, push messages).
- Drive product, contact and creative strategies to develop and implement personalized campaigns using machine learning, predictive modeling and personalized content.
- Optimize fan journey campaigns using insights and analytics along with automation tools to increase fan lifetime value (LTV) and engagement.
- Manage and execute personalization and optimization across marketing campaigns.
- Design and implement A/B and multivariate tests that yield continuous improvements to the club’s fan strategies and lift conversion rates.
- Develop reporting to measure digital marketing campaign preference.
- Analyze digital marketing results to provide regular, accurate and useful reporting on active campaigns, fan segments and historical view of performance.
- Monitor email deliverability, digital marketing industry best practices and regulations, including CAN-SPAM laws and privacy/permissions best practices.
- Adhere and stay up to date on privacy best practices and regulations for data collection and marketing programs.
- Manage and execute sweepstakes for fan engagement and acquisition.
- Use SQL and R Studio for generating insights into customer segments/personas.
QuAlifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS required.
- 3-5 years of experience in Email Marketing, Digital Marketing or Direct Marketing.
- Background must include strong quantitative and analytical skills, along with a detailed understanding of email marketing operations, platforms, technology, campaign performance metrics, and deliverability issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding project and vendor management skills.
- Strong editing, proof reading, organizational, and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for quality.
- Ability to interact, work effectively across functional groups, work alongside and team with others is essential, as is the ability to navigate internal resources to generate results.
- Independent self-starter with a sense of urgency, proven results orientation, initiative and an affinity for producing consistently high-quality work and yield in a manner that exceeds expectations.
- The capacity to juggle multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment is critical.
- A creative thinker with critical analysis and problem-solving skills, along with flexibility/adaptability and a knack for thinking on your feet will succeed in this role.
- Expertise in email marketing laws and email best practices, including contact strategies, design, A/B testing, delivery and deliverability issues, customer segmentation and analytics/performance management.
- Experience working with Tableau, R Studio, Adobe Experience Platform/Adobe Analytics, Epsilon and Attentive is preferred.
