Job Title: Gameday Communications Assistant
Employee Status:
Part-Time- 2021 Season
Role Overview:    
The gameday communications assistant will have the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities of a National Football League public relations staff while working as a member of the department and assisting in its gameday functions in the press box at FedExField. A background in public/media relations or sport management is encouraged. Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsiblities: 
·       Assist with ALL preseason, regular season and postseason home games. 
·       Facilitate various requests by media members for information, statistics, etc.
·       Assist in distribution of credentials and statistics.
·       Assist in the distribution of media photo vests. 
·       Assist in transcribing and distribution of post-game press conferences and quotes.
·       Monitor interviews.
·       Maintain the press box at FedExField, keeping it fully stocked with updated team
·       Prepare press box for game day.
·       Research statistical information for the communications department as needed.
        All other related tasks and duties as assigned.
Role Qualifications (Skills/Experience/Capabilities):
·       Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to use discretion.
·       Strong writing skills.
·       Detail-oriented and organized.
·       Can work independently when given a task and have the focus to follow through & follow-up           if problems arise.
·       Team player capable of handling a variety of tasks; no job beneath them and have the       
        physical and mental capability to perform essential duties.
·       Ability to interact with players, staff, fans and the community in a professional manner.
·       Must be able to work safely and follow safety and security protocol. 
        Must be able to meet scheduling needs and work onsite.
        Previous transcribing experience is a plus.
