The Washington Football Team are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic. Individual should have a strong passion for sales and a desire to build a career in professional sports. This position generates revenue through strategic prospecting, cold-calling and relationship building.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed all specified sales goals related to the Premium Club Level 
  • Primarily responsible for the sale of season tickets and group tickets in the Premium Club Level
  • Heavy emphasis on outbound phone calls with daily minimums exceeding 40-50 calls per day depending on time of year
  • Execute face-to-face sales appointments, presentations and stadium tours to assist in closing new business and developing new relationships
  • Utilize in-stadium events to develop and grow new customer relationships through seat visits, prospecting, referrals, and other sales initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts in an effort to retain, cross-sell and upgrade
  • Enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platform for efficient reporting and historical data purposes
  • Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule   including weeknights, select weekends and holidays
 
Desired Characteristics / Qualifications:
  • Coachable, Confident, Assertive, Fearless, Competitive, Reliable, and above all a Great Teammate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, a related field, or equivalent job experience in a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of sales experience; premium sales experience preferred
  • Experience with ticketing programs (Archtics, CRM)
  • Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-level clients
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of outbound phone calls
  • Maintain the mission & values of the Washington Redskins
  • Local market knowledge is a plus
