The Washington Football Team’s ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic. Individual should have a strong passion for sales and a desire to build a career in professional sports. This position generates revenue through strategic prospecting, cold-calling and relationship building.
Responsibilities:
· Meet or exceed all specified group sales goals
· Game day responsibilities include meeting with group leaders, assisting in all group sales initiatives and game day assets as required to fulfill and meet the needs of clients
· Retain, service, cross-sell and upgrade existing group accounts
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
· Conduct both in-stadium and field appointments to assist in closing new business and developing new relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree
· 1 year of sales experience in a sports and entertainment environment
· Experience with ticketing programs (Archtics, CRM)
· Experience in a high volume sports and entertainment venue
· Strong customer service skills and ability to ensure excellent customer care
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· High proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
· Ability to handle a high volume of outbound phone calls
· Maintain the mission & values of the Washington Football Team
