JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Summary/Objective
USA Football is looking for an innovative and seasoned Senior Manager, Digital Video Production to lead all aspects of our creative video department. 
 
Are you OK with doing things like they’ve always been done and copying what others are doing? Then this role isn’t for you. Instead, this fits someone obsessed with being different and setting new standards, whether covering an event, producing an educational video, or ideating branded content. 
 
The Senior Manager, Digital Video Production will use their vision to lead a key division of our growing content department. The right candidate will oversee the creative process and execution of all video content for our digital and social media platforms. 
 
As the exclusive selector for the U.S. National Team that competes in international events, including the Olympics, we are looking for someone to help increase awareness of USA Football’s mission and highlight current and future elite talent in our sport. 
 
 
Essential Functions

·       Implement a creative vision for current content and a roadmap for how we will innovate in the NGB space. 
·       Oversee pre-production planning, storyboarding, videography, editing, and motion design.
·       Digest briefs, identifying key elements to raise brand awareness and engagement, drive a direct CTA, and increase revenue.
 
·       Act as a creative lead on projects and, as necessary, shoot and edit video content.
·       Work cross-functionally to service needs for other internal departments (including but not limited to U.S. National Teams, partnerships, marketing, events, membership & affiliation, and education).
·       Manage a small team of shooters, editors, and producers.
·       Help build and maintain a network of freelancers and outside vendors.
·       Create a project management workflow to ensure we follow timelines and hit deadlines in an organized fashion. 
·       Schedule video department members for all shoots, edits, and other production needs.
·       Route edits for approvals and prioritize, organize, and communicate notes to internal and external editors.
·       Understand the latest digital, social media, and video production trends, including the cross-section of sports, pop culture, music, fashion, art, and entertainment.
·       Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all equipment and requisite software applications relative to video production and motion graphics.
·       Oversee a data asset management archival platform for all video content while ensuring best practices are met with tagging, storage oversight, etc.
·       Set clear expectations while providing coaching feedback to develop staff.
·       Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to fulfill video requests at a high standard.

Required Education and Experience
·       Bachelor’s degree
·       5+ years’ experience in a professional video production setting.
·       Expertise in operating and maintaining digital video equipment in the Sony DSLR family.
·       Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.). 
·       Ability to proactively prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
·       Strong experience with project management software and tools.
·       Proven experience taking creative briefs to final deliverables.
·       Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal, including the ability to collaborate, manage projects, and build relationships to establish trust and confidence.
·       Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize, support, and manage multiple projects, including production schedules and media assets, with the ability to meet deadlines and be within budget.

·       Must be able to share a reel, portfolio, and/or collection of prior work relevant to this position, demonstrating your prowess as a shooter, editor, and producer.
·       Ability to be flexible with your work schedule, including working nights and weekends based on event needs and priorities. This will include overnight and weekend travel for domestic and international events as needed.
·       Must pass pre-employment screens.
 
 
As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, USA Football provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, etc. The pay range for this position is as follows: Min $ 55,209; Mid $ 71,700; Max $88,191.
 
This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Must meet requirements.

Work Environment
This job primarily operates in a remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
 
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to sit for more than four hours per day, reading, listening, stooping, bending and manual dexterity. 
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time remote position.  
 
Travel
A minimum of 10% travel annually is required for this position.
 
Salary
We offer a competitive salary and benefits. The salary range for this position is $55,209 - $88,191, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
