Job Function
This role is responsible for supporting our prospects and customers with USA Football products and programs, with a heavy emphasis on helping the football market add new offerings.
 
In this position, the candidate will also oversee Sales Development Representatives in Consulting, offering advice and consulting input as they work with organizations across the country on opportunities such as membership, affiliation, flag opportunities, enrollment, and coach certification.
 
This role connects USA Football to its constituents; including organization commissioners, coaches, parents and/or players. This role will also connect with our users with in-person and virtual experiences to provide more in-depth consulting. This individual is imperative in supporting programmatic and sales initiatives including day-to-day activities with direction from the Senior Manager, Membership & Affiliation and Director, Consulting Sales. They will also work with marketing, IT, education, HP, events and tournament teams to make sure we have the resources and value props to adequately support sales and consulting efforts.
 
Ultimately, this person is responsible for creating and building meaningful relationships with constituents, as well as building trust and credibility on behalf of USA Football while serving these audiences.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Performs activities to meet established sales and revenue metrics on products and programs, including oversight of Consulting Sales Development Representatives in these efforts
  • Communicate via calls, voicemails, meetings, email, text, chat tools, social and video as needed
  • Oversee teams as appropriate, including supporting goal setting efforts, on-going development and monitoring of metrics
  • Develop prospecting lists and ensure proper data integrity for the CRM and oversee Sales Development Representative CRM usage
  • Create and cultivate both short and long-term prospecting lists in Salesforce and prioritize relationship strategies to increase sales
  • Work with Consulting Sales team to develop strategies and resources to help leagues, clubs and teams add new offerings or implement USA Football products/programs
  • Act as the main point for consulting for leagues on specified products/programs, including identifying content needs and supporting creation/writing of consultative content
  • Collaborate with members of the sales staff to ensure proper conversation/relationship transition handoffs as necessary to maintain an excellent brand experience
  • Maintain accurate sales data in CRM (Salesforce) and update activity and information in Salesforce or Proprietary Database as Appropriate
  • Help qualify football organizations, maintain an accurate database of existing accounts and properly managing the opportunity pipeline – all in Salesforce
  • Drive attendance to any convening or competitive events
  • Stay up to date on USA Football products, programs and initiatives and communicate them to constituents and gather feedback and insights to help identify and/or build new resources
  • Provide resources, videos, tools and more to help educate audience
  • Listen to feedback and refine sales techniques to improve efficiency
  • Occasionally support customer service needs as appropriate, often through sales process
  • Occasionally provide messaging/video content for social media, content or email initiatives

Job Requirements
  • Previous sales experience (3+ years)
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM solution (1+ years)
  • Previous experience managing teams cross-functionally or directly (1 year)
  • Experience consulting with customers/organizations to help them grow (1+ years)
  • Ability to ideate and write consultative content
  • High level of comfort prospecting and engaging new customers and prospects
  • Comfort with metric transparency and performance evaluations based on activity
  • Preferably: Understanding and knowledge of youth tackle and flag football marketplace
  • Participate in on-going coaching and training
  • Moderate Travel to Events, including league meeting and tournaments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or other area
Work Environment
This job operates in a remote environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
 
Physical Demands
Requires the ability to sit for more than four hours per day, reading, listening, stooping, bending, and manual dexterity.

Salary
We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
Salary range: $43,351 - $69,249, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
