USA Football – Coordinator, Education 
Job Title: Coordinator of Education (Coach Focus)
Reports To: Senior Manager of Education (Coach)
Positions Directly Supervised: None
 
Job Function: This position is responsible for the coordination and support of curriculum and resources for coaches, league leaders and student-athletes. This position will also execute programming and perform other functions within the education team in support of the advancement of the Football Development Model.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Supports the creation of new programming and resources to engage coaches, league leaders and student-athletes
  2. Supports in the creation of new programming and resources to facilitate long-term educational relationships with coaches and league leaders
  3. Supports the enhancement and evolution of educational content
  4. Develops internal and external educational materials and resources 
  5. Works collaboratively across units to activate innovative solutions to address FDM implementation
  6. Works cross-functionally with other units and departments to ensure content is appropriately integrated, activated, and evolved
  7. Supports the execution of educational programs and events
  • Assist in the development of event content
  • Assist in facilitator training
  • Coordinate the registration process
  • Determine useful resource materials 
  • Serve as an on-site program or event coordinator as needed
  • Provide progress reports to appropriate USA Football stakeholders
  • Promote program to youth football organizations
  • Overall educational program support
  • Communicate with "consultants" and youth football stakeholders to assess needs
8. Work cross-functionally to coordinate all aspects of video shoots and content collection for the education team
9. Collaborates with research to utilize customer feedback to enhance education, materials, and resources
10. Stay current and report on athlete development and training techniques
11. Represent USA Football, in presentations, at clinics, at conventions and meetings as requested and assigned
12. Coordinates educational messaging on social media
13.   Other duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or sport management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage various responsibilities
  • Experience with cross-functional teamwork
  • Ability to work well with diverse groups of individuals
  • Knowledge of adult education models and curriculum
  • Experience working with commissioners, coaches or adults
  • Experience coaching youth student-athletes
  • Event planning and project management experience
  • Ability to develop and manage meetings, events, and conferences 
  • Knowledge of education evaluation tools and materials
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Open to frequent travel to events
  • Knowledge and understanding of youth sports, the role of NGBs and USA Football's mission and function
