Location: Remote
Classification: Contract
Hours: 12 hours per week
Rate: $16.00 per hour

Position Summary:

USA Football is seeking a Compliance and Contract Support Specialist to assist in upholding the organization’s standards of integrity, safety, and governance in line with U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and U.S. Center for SafeSport (USCSS). This role supports the Compliance and Contract Manager in administering contracts, contract review, administrative support and monitoring compliance across all program areas 

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Administration:
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts, agreements, and related documents.
  • Maintain and monitor contract databases and ensure timely renewals, expirations, and deliverable deadlines.
  • Support the review process by summarizing key terms and assisting in the coordination of internal approvals.
 
SafeSport and Athlete Safety Compliance:
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports and documentation for regulatory bodies.
  • Track SafeSport training, background checks, and compliance across various staff, athlete and contractor populations.
  • Support internal compliance audits and help track corrective actions.
  • Assist with intake, documentation, and coordination of SafeSport-related complaints and investigations.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws, regulations, and policies affecting the organization.

Administrative Support:
  • Organize and maintain compliance records, policies and procedures in accordance with USOPC, SafeSport and other regulatory standards.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support meeting preparation by compiling necessary documentation and taking minutes when required.
  • Coordinate communication between internal departments to ensure alignment on compliance and contractual matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Legal Studies, Compliance, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in contract administration, compliance, legal support, or within a National Governing Body (NGB).
  • Skills:
    •  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of SafeSport and NGB governance practices 
    • Ability to interpret and analyze contracts and compliance requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with a NGB, sports organization, or non-profit organizations
  • Familiarity with USOPC and SafeSport compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of contract lifecycle management tools or systems
