The Tennessee Titans are seeking a Director of Parking & Transportation to develop and execute a comprehensive strategic transportation and parking plan for both the current and future Nissan Stadium. This role focuses on optimizing the fan experience through effective planning, execution and real-time management of all traffic, parking and transit operations on event and game days. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external teams. This is a highly strategic and operationally critical position that plays a central role in enhancing guest satisfaction and maintaining public safety at Nissan Stadium.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of a strategic transportation plan for the current Nissan Stadium and new Nissan Stadium that maximizes fan experience on game and event days.
- Overall responsibility for all traffic and parking operations related to the current and future stadium, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Oversee contracts and maintain strategic relationships with transportation and parking partners (e.g., WeGo, PMC, Lyft, Uber, Gray Line) to ensure optimal vendor performance and elevate the guest experience.
- Collaborate with MNPD, NDOT, and TDOT to strategically plan and optimize traffic flow for both current and future stadium events.
- Work closely with stadium security, law enforcement, and city agencies to design and continuously refine emergency access routes, street closures, and public safety protocols to support evolving event and city needs.
- Collaborate with the Stadium Experience team to ensure accessible ADA ingress and egress from designated drop off points and parking areas.
- Develop and implement traffic flow signage plans to enhance ingress and egress efficiency.
- Oversee all guest & employee shuttle related operations associated with Nissan Stadium.
- Align with Stadium Experience and Communication teams to deliver clear and timely information on parking, transit, and traffic updates for enhanced guest navigation.
- Monitor real-time parking and transportation operations, collaborating with partners and city agencies to make timely adjustments during events.
- Work closely with the data analytics team to analyze post-event data, uncover improvement opportunities, and enhance future traffic and parking planning.
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive parking permit system and credentialed staff and VIP lot allocations.
- Oversee and maintain parking inventory for all stadium and event lots, encompassing both on-site and off-site facilities.
- Handle daily parking lot issues, ensuring lot availability, proper maintenance, and controlled access.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years’ experience in traffic and parking management or related field preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with creative, outside-the-box thinking.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow.
- Ability to develop and communicate operational plans clearly.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Proactive approach to daily tasks and strategic planning.
- Skilled at fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
- Strong ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners.
- Perform well under pressure with excellent multitasking abilities.
