We’re looking for a Benefits & Compensation Coordinator to join our people and culture team. This role will play a crucial part in assisting with payroll processes and benefits administration. We are looking for someone who is exceptionally detail-focused, takes initiative, and maintains the highest level of discretion when managing confidential and sensitive information.

  • Assist in preparing, reviewing and processing payroll utilizing Dayforce
  • Process employee hires, changes, and terminations in HRIS and benefits platforms
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits & payroll records
  • Assist with reporting, managing, and troubleshooting within the HRIS and benefits platforms
  • Assist with required compliance and reporting requirements such as EEO-1, ACA, etc.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefits & payroll-related issues
  • Proactively investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payroll and benefits
  • Review and verify invoices and commission payments for accuracy & completeness
  • Perform other payroll and benefits-related activities as assigned

Requirements:

Education
· High School Diploma required
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred

Experience
· 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing or benefits administration
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel preferred
· Experience with Dayforce system preferred
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive material with integrity
· Knowledge of relevant labor laws and tax regulations
· Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks, especially in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
· Relevant certifications (i.e., Certified Payroll Professional) a plus

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
· In-office position based in a corporate environment with individual workspaces and shared common areas
· Ability to work flexible hours as needed
· Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders, along with active listening abilities to understand and respond appropriately to diverse audiences in both individual and group settings.
