The Sales & Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the organization and the department in event booking, marketing, and execution. The Intern will support the day to day activity of calendar scheduling, social media, ticketing, and FGI produced events throughout the internship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist the Booking Manager with calendar bookings and processing internal event requests
  • Provide support to Manager of Event Planning & Production as it pertains to public programs and special events
  • Assist the Marketing Coordinator as we build the WaMu Theater brand and social media accounts
  • Help to create and execute grassroots marketing initiatives for public and ticketed events
  • Support the Box Office with various event creation, ticket builds and management
  • Work with the Box Office to create analytic reports using Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and to highlight ticket goals & sales
  • Act as an ambassador of First & Goal Inc, providing top notch customer service to clients and ticket buyers
  • Complete tasks as assigned by Booking Manager and Sales & Marketing Department leaders

Time Frame: 
Most of our intern placements will last the duration of the NFL season (approx. late June or early July – February).

Applicant must: 
  • Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a four year college or university. Grad school students are eligible to apply as well.
  • Have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Have a current driver’s license
  • Be able to work 30 hours per week as well as game day/nights, weekends and other various events

Selection Process:
Final applicants will be contacted and invited to participate in our interview process starting in early May. All interviews will take place at our team headquarters in Renton or at our stadium in Seattle and must be done in person. Further, we will not pay for any interview related expenses such as travel or lodging; these expenses are the sole responsibility of the applicant.

Interns are responsible for their own housing, travel, and relocation expenses. A background check will be conducted prior to starting work with us.
