Acrisure Stadium is seeking a highly organized and energetic Full-Time Suite Operations Intern to join our team. As the Suite Operations Intern, you will work to assist with the suite operational preparations for all stadium-related events. Throughout the season and offseason, interns will be able to gain experience by assisting with suites and suite levels readiness, taking necessary inventories, creating event materials, working on relevant projects, and building and maintaining relationships with industry professionals. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one sessions with management dedicated to professional development and career growth.
The person in this role will work 9:00AM-5:00PM Monday through Friday in addition to game days and private events for a term of one year (with optional second year). The compensation for this position is $18.00 per hour.
Suites Gameday Operations:
• Assist Luxury Suites Manager with all operational stadium suite preparations for events such as concerts, Steelers games, and University of Pittsburgh football games.
• Actively involved with suite projects in the stadium involving inventory, regular suite checks, supplies, developing resources, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Manage suite details and suite level checks for game/event readiness, client requests.
• Maintain all suite electronic devices uses for gameday such as pedestal ticket scanners, handheld ticket scanners, and staff communicators.
• Communicate with housekeeping and facilities teams to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of suites and suite levels.
Suite Staffing Responsibilities:
• Create game day staffing schedules for all games, concerts, and events, including handling call-offs, schedule changes, and team member requests.
• Assist with planning, execution, and delivery for hiring events and staff trainings, including on-boarding and developing resources for game day staff.
• Manage suite staff on gameday and conduct staff briefing meeting.
• Oversee incentives and rewards programs for suites staff.
• Manage suite staff uniform inventory and attendance tracker.
Suite CRM and Ticketing Operations
• Manage suite holder address and email list for email, gift, and invoice distribution.
• Create formstacks with internal departments for client surveys
• Learn Archtics ticketing software to sell tickets and parking passes to client accounts
• Maintain client account contact information in Archtics
Assist Luxury Suites Manager
• Assist with details involved in planning and executing VIP suite events such as suite draft party, suite tasting, VIP training camp, and suite admin preseason game.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as marketing and sponsorship on shared suiteholders account activations
• Assist with client suite signage drop offs and installation with internal facilities
• Assist Suites Department with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field
• Experience in customer service or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Organizational skills needed
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 20 lbs
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills a must
• Leadership skills and ability to work with and manage a team
