The Pittsburgh Steelers Facility Operations Department is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facility Operations Associate. Under the Direction of the Director of Facility Operations and the Assistant Director of Facility Operations, the Facility Operations Associate will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Facility Operations department. A critical component of this role is to further advance the use of 24/7 Software to enhance operational effectiveness and support event operations. 
*Tentative start date for this position is February 1, 2026.
**This is a one year, paid 40 hour a week position, with the option to extend for a 2nd year.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the facility operations department to include planning, set up/breakdown, and event day implementation of major stadium events and rental events at Acrisure Stadium.
• Take the lead on various event day items to include set up of ticket scanners and other access control items as assigned.
• Develop and update event set up operation document (including photos) to guide staff for proper event setups, including University of Pittsburgh, Steelers, concerts, and other stadium events. 
• Manage the distribution of giveaway items.
• Manage event credentials, parking passes and other game related items for Acrisure Stadium facilities staff. Keep up to date lists of staff including extra labor and game day support staff.
• Attend event planning meetings and coordinate requests for setup of operational items for outside rental events.
• Distribute monthly event calendars to maintenance staff.
• Perform daily building inspections focusing on maintenance, cleaning and concessions.
• Assist in the procurement of vendors and services as required.
• Coordinate the delivery of packages and daily mail.
• Manage 24/7 CMMS system to document work orders and repairs.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and event-specific checklists in 24/7 to guide staff activities and enable real-time performance visibility.
• Track and review event day reports to confirm all items from event day are addressed in a timely manner.
• Develop dashboards in 24/7 that provide managers with task completion metrics and capital repair assessment.
• Ensure all staff communicator devices are updated weekly, charged, and functioning prior to and during events.
• Collect and input utility data into Energy Star Portfolio Manager.
• Create purchase orders for various operations purchases.
• Manage suite level access control system.
• Manage gas pump access.
• Assist with uniform inventory and distribution.
• Assist with yearly inventory control report.
• Manage inventory and ordering of seat parts.
• Organize and maintain all facility storage areas.
• Maintain office supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: 
  • Four-year degree in Sports Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 
Knowledge & Skills:
• Ability to work all Pittsburgh Steelers and University of Pittsburgh home football games and other stadium events, including nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by job responsibilities.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work productively, both independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite applications along with ability to quickly learn new software applications and information systems. Familiarity with CMMS is a plus.
• Ability to capture work procedures provided by others and prepare accurate reports.
• Ability to create preventative maintenance schedules based on equipment or contract requirements.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to work in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow.
• Experience working with operations or maintenance teams is a plus.
