Ticket Services & Fan Relations Intern

Internship: Internship
Will support the Ticket Sales & Service team with daily tasks and season-long projects. Will interact with fans through various platforms, assist at Season Ticket Holder events and host guests on gameday. 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provide superior customer service to all fans, Season Ticket Holders and Blue Pride members. 
  • Handle inbound & outbound communication via phone, email, and various social media platforms. 
  • Assist with Customer Service, Fan Feedback, and Facebook responses.
  • Provide customers with necessary information to convert into sales, or determine appropriate resolutions for customer service issues.
  • Be informed and communicate both positive and negative feedback to help support our Fans First Culture. 
  • Contribute to additional service processes including but not limited to Watch List reporting, fraudulent ticket tracking, special experience fulfillment, ejection report and warning letter process, and event planning and execution. 
  • Assist with player & coach ticket order fulfillment.
  • Serve as host for Pre-Game Sideline Experience guests on gamedays. 
  • Keep track of Ticketing team efforts with our weekly “Hustle Board.” 
  • Enter customer, sales & service data into CRM system.
  • Attend and provide service at gamedays and other special events that include night and weekend work.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned. 
Required Skills:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in sales, service, and customer relations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications working knowledge of windows based environment.
  • Experience with a ticket operations system, development application or other relational database preferred but not required
  • Experience with computerized report writing or data extraction programs preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster, DSA and Microsoft CRM preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated work experience in a professional sports or college athletics environment, including involvement with high-profile events preferred but not required
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  •  Ability to speak in a professional manner via telephone or in person with guests, visitors, and fans.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Reasoning Ability 
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • The employee must have mobility to move about the stadium and administrative offices. 
Time Frame: 
Most of our intern placements will last the duration of the NFL season (approx. late June or early July – February). 
Applicant must: 
  • Be currently enrolled as a junior, senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a four year college or university. Grad school students are eligible to apply as well. 
  • Have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Have a current driver’s license
  • Be able to work 30 hours per week as well as game day/nights, weekends and other various events

Selection Process:
Final applicants will be contacted and invited to participate in our interview process starting in early May. All interviews will take place at our team headquarters in Renton or at our stadium in Seattle and must be done in person. Further, we will not pay for any interview related expenses such as travel or lodging; these expenses are the sole responsibility of the applicant.
