Communications/Community Relations: Media Manager
The New York Jets Content Department is searching for a Seasonal Media Manager to join their award-winning team. This role will provide assistance to the Post - Production Engineer in all facets of the team’s productions including but not limited to media management, and all post – production projects throughout the 2022 season.  The ideal candidate will bring passion, creativity and energy to our team.
  • This position will lead the process in the maintenance, organization and presentation of all New York Jets media footage.
  • Work closely with post-production, ENG, remote, social media and studio teams to log all incoming media which includes: live games, interviews, game highlights, scenic and all team historical content etc. 
  • Work with editors and producers to create new logging workflows to improve efficiency. This includes creating an easily understood metadata system for all editors and producers.
  • Good communication skills are required. 
  • Working on Gamedays and late nights to have things prepped for next day edits.
  • An ability to edit and shoot.
  • Experience using editing software such as: Adobe Premiere , Avid Media Composer and After Effects.
  • Candidate must be extremely organized, and detail oriented with an ability to take direction from producers and editors.
  • Candidate must have experience working in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
  • Candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekend and on holidays.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies or a related field is preferred.
  • A strong knowledge of the New York Jets and our history preferred.
  • Previous work experience in sports is preferred.
