Human Resources Generalist
The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team by assisting with day-to-day HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and administrative processes. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented sports environment and offers exposure to HR functions within a professional football organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Help schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
• Support hiring paperwork and pre-employment requirements
• Maintain applicant tracking and personnel records
• Assist with maintaining accurate payroll information and procedures. 
• Assist with the Gameday Staff hiring process including posting job descriptions, managing employment paperwork requirements with hiring managers
• Coordinate new hire onboarding for full time employees, and seasonal and summer interns, including orientation materials, system access, accurate communication with managers and new hires
• Support employee offboarding including workflow notifications and system access
• Maintain offboarding schedule for all summer interns
• Maintain employee files and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist with employment verifications and general HR inquiries
• Support compliance with organizational policies and applicable labor laws
• Assist with the coordination and logistics of all staff distributions such as gear and stadium vouchers for game days.
• Assist with employee events, trainings, and recognition initiatives as needed
• Assist with special projects such as process improvements, employee communications, employee raffles, etc. as needed
Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently
Preferred
• Prior internship or administrative experience
• Prior experience utilizing an HRIS system, Paylocity experience a plus.
• Interest in human resources and/or the sports industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-first environment

The salary for this role: USD $16.00 per hour, depending on the specific qualifications of the successful candidate.  Company benefit programs for seasonal employees include: robust medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k plan participation (after 1000 hours + one year of service) with company-match; PTO, sick time.
