The New York Jets are seeking a motivated and results-driven Manager, Corporate Sponsorship Sales to support new business development and partnership growth efforts across the Corporate Partnerships portfolio. This role is an individual contributor sales position responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing integrated sponsorship solutions while building strong foundational selling skills within a high-performance sales organization.
The Manager will manage a personal pipeline and book of business, working closely with senior sales leaders, Activation, Business Intelligence, and Creative partners to develop compelling, insight-driven partnership solutions for local, regional, and national brands.
This position is ideal for an emerging seller with 3–5 years of sales experience who is ready to take on increased responsibility and grow within a professional sports partnership environment.
Core Responsibilities
New Business Development & Sales Execution
- Support annual new business revenue objectives by prospecting, qualifying leads, and advancing opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Research and identify prospective partners through category analysis, market research, and outbound outreach.
- Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand prospect objectives and align Jets assets to business needs.
- Assist in the development and presentation of sponsorship proposals, concepts, and pitch materials.
- Participate in contract negotiation and closing processes under the guidance of senior sales leadership.
Account Support & Growth
- Support renewal efforts and account growth opportunities in collaboration with Business Intelligence and Activation teams.
- Help maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication, meeting preparation, and follow-up.
- Identify incremental opportunities within assigned accounts to expand partnership scope over time.
Sales Operations & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline updates, activity tracking, and opportunity documentation.
- Support forecasting and reporting processes by ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
- Utilize internal insights and analytics resources to strengthen proposals and renewal conversations.
Events & Brand Representation
- Represent the New York Jets at games, events, and partner activations as assigned to support relationship-building and business development.
- Maintain an active presence in-market with prospects and partners throughout the season and offseason.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, sponsorship, sports, media or related B2B roles.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and advance sales opportunities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging clients in meetings and pitches.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across multiple opportunities.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred
- Experience supporting or selling integrated marketing or sponsorship platforms.
- Exposure to sports, entertainment, or media partnerships.
- Comfort leveraging modern productivity tools and AI-enabled workflows to increase efficiency (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claud, Gemini).
- Desire to grow into a senior sales role over time.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent professional experience).

Salary range for this role: USD $85,000 - $95,000 per year, as well as commission and discretionary annual company bonus, dependent on the specific qualifications of the successful candidate.
