Manager, Content & Creative
The Manager, Content & Creative is a hybrid producer-editor role responsible for turning raw footage and incoming content into polished, attention-grabbing storytelling across the New York Jets owned and operated platforms. Sitting within 1JD Connect, this position contributes to the on-the-ground capture of Jets content, but the role is defined by what happens next, shaping that material into creative content for tentpole events, in-stadium presentation, marketing and commercial spots, football storytelling and stylized, creative social content. This is a content focused, editing-led role, strong instincts in the edit bay, a sharp eye for pacing and visual style, and the ability to turn a wide range of source material into content that engages its viewer. At the Manager level, this person is expected to proactively identify content opportunities, develop original concepts, and lead selected priority projects from initial idea through delivery.
Content Capture & Production Support
• Contribute to on-site capture of Jets content including practices, games, events, and partner activations — alongside the broader 1JD Entertainment production team.
• Shoot and gather supplemental footage and project-specific assets to support 1JD Connect campaigns and priorities, partnering with the Photography team when still imagery is required.
• Coordinate with Photography team, social producers and other 1JD Entertainment verticals to source existing footage and assets for repurposing.
• Stay closely connected to what's being captured across the organization so incoming content can be quickly identified, organized, and turned around.
• Proactively track upcoming football moments, tentpoles, social trends, and organizational priorities so content-first creative opportunities are identified before formal assignments arrive.
Editing & Creative Post-Production
• Edit and produce content around NFL and team tentpole events, turning moments into memories across Jets platforms.
• Produce selected signature in-stadium pieces — including videoboard packages, hype videos, and pump-up content — while supporting the broader weekly stadium-content slate.
• Produce stylized, creative social content that pushes visual style and trend-forward editing beyond standard highlight cutdowns.
• Serve as a senior post-production lead on select projects, handling assembly, sound design, motion design, graphics integration, and color as needed, while ensuring work meets Jets brand and broadcast standards.
• Build reusable edit templates, motion packages, and practical post-production workflows that help the team move faster while maintaining quality.
• Evaluate and apply emerging creative tools, including AI-assisted workflows, when they meaningfully improve content quality, execution, speed, or scale.
Brand, Marketing & Sponsorship Content
• Partner with Marketing, Sponsorship, and Brand teams to translate briefs into visually compelling creative.
• Support branded, sponsored, organizational, and commercial projects when advanced editing, motion, or creative finishing is needed, taking projects from raw capture through polished final delivery.
• Ensure sponsored and commercial content still earns attention and serves the audience, in line with 1JD's content-integrity standards.
• Help uphold a consistent visual standard within video across in-stadium, marketing, social, and campaign deliverables.
• Manage footage libraries and project deliverables to stay organized and on schedule across multiple concurrent campaigns.
• Join shared campaign planning early enough to help shape capture needs, post-production approach, and deliverable strategy.
Qualifications
*A portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant professional work is required*
Experience
· 4-6 years of professional experience in video editing, content production, or creative post-production, ideally within sports, entertainment, or a fast-paced brand/agency environment
· Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept through final delivery
· Experience working across multiple content types — highlights, hype/tentpole videos, social-first creative, and branded/sponsored content
· Prior on-site production or shoot experience (games, events, activations) is a plus, though the role is weighted toward post-production
· Experience building and maintaining reusable templates, motion packages, or workflow systems for a team, rather than working purely on a project-by-project basis
Technical Skills
· Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (required)
· Working proficiency in Photoshop for graphics and thumbnail/asset support
· Working proficiency in Cinema 4D and/or Blender for 3D motion graphics and design elements

Creative & Professional Skills
· A strong editorial eye — pacing, rhythm, and visual style — with a portfolio that shows range beyond standard highlight cutdowns
· Ability to translate a brief (from Marketing, Sponsorship, or Brand) into visually compelling, on-brand creative
· Strong organizational skills to manage footage libraries and multiple concurrent projects/deadlines
· Comfortable proactively pitching ideas and identifying content opportunities, not just waiting on assignments
· Strong collaborator across production, photography, social, and brand teams
