About the Internship:
MetLife Stadium — home to the New York Giants and New York Jets — is offering an exciting Human Resources Internship for Spring 2026. This unpaid opportunity is open to students who are enrolled as college juniors and seniors by January 2026, as well as post-graduate students pursuing an interest in accounting or related fields. This position is ideal for students pursuing Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. 

The Human Resources Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department during our winter/spring season. The intern will gain exposure to a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training compliance, recordkeeping, and special HR projects.

Internship Dates:
January 2026 through April 2026
(Minimum of 2 days per week and all HR special events)
 
What You’ll Learn & Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Intern at MetLife Stadium, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and insight into the people operations of a major sports and entertainment venue. You will assist the HR team with a variety of responsibilities, including:
  • Recruitment processes, including resume review, interview scheduling, and job fair support
  • Employee onboarding, I-9 verification, and credentials/badging procedures
  • HR compliance tracking, including training logs, certifications, and personnel files
  • Internal communication, HR documentation, and professional correspondence
  • Employee engagement planning, recognition programs, and event coordination
  • Exposure to HR systems, workflows, and daily operations in a high-volume environment
  • Participate in on-site and off-site job fairs

What We’re Looking For
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting 
  • Be enrolled as a college junior or senior by January 2026, or be a post-graduate student
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and savvy in internet research
  • Capability to organize work, prioritize objectives, and exercise independent judgment while adhering to organizational policies and procedures
  • A polished appearance, positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit when working with colleagues across the organization.

Schedule:
This internship includes weekday office hours (2 days/week minimum). Attendance during evening job fairs or special HR events is required and may require flexibility.

  • Unpaid internship
  • Academic credit is optional and can be arranged through your university
  • We offer feedback, evaluations, and weekly progress reports as required by academic programs
  • On-site internship (no remote option)
