About the Internship:
MetLife Stadium — home to the New York Giants and New York Jets — is offering an exciting Accounting Internship for Summer 2026. This unpaid opportunity is open to students who will be enrolled as college juniors or seniors by September 2026, as well as post-graduate students pursuing an interest in accounting or related fields.
Internship Dates:
May 2026 through August 2026
(Minimum of 2 days per week + scheduled stadium events)
What You’ll Learn & Responsibilities
As an Accounting Intern at MetLife Stadium, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and insight into the financial operations of a major sports and entertainment venue. You will assist the Accounting team with a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Supporting the Accounts Payable process
- Performing Amex reconciliations and reviewing expense reports
- Assisting with budgets, prepaid expenses, and outstanding checks
- Completing activation reconciliations
- Preparing the weekly check deposit file, ensuring accuracy of check number, check date, check amount, and deposit date
- Preparing monthly account reconciliations for various accounts
- Generating invoices within the accounting system
- Reviewing preliminary year-end financial statements to ensure accuracy
- Creating full NFL season schedule projects within the accounting system
What We’re Looking For
Superior organizational skills and ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting
- Be enrolled as a college junior or senior by September 2026, or be a post-graduate student.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and savvy in internet research
- Capability to organize work, prioritize objectives, and exercise independent judgment while adhering to organizational policies and procedures
- A polished appearance, positive attitude, and a collaborative spirit when working with colleagues across the organization.
Schedule:
This internship includes weekday office hours (2 days/week minimum). A work schedule will be shared at least one week in advance.

- Academic credit is optional and can be arranged through your university
- We offer feedback, evaluations, and weekly progress reports as required by academic programs
- On-site internship (no remote option)
