The CRM and Database Manager is primarily responsible for enabling and optimizing the Rams’ data-driven marketing capabilities with a heavy focus on cultivating a pipeline of leads, growing fan engagement/retention, and increasing fan lifetime value.  The ideal candidate has experience building a stable marketing data environment and implementing new marketing technology, driving cross-functional adaption of CRM tools and strategies, partnering with sales teams on lead modeling and prioritization, and developing initiatives that engender customer loyalty. 

Role Responsibilities: 
  • Be the centralized owner of the Rams fan database and CRM software, to include stabilizing the data environment, organizational comprehension of database and CRM components, and ensuring data-driven capabilities are leveraged in marketing and sales efforts
  • Management of CRM capabilities roadmap, implementation of new CRM technology, and the automation of system and list processes
  • Implementation and maintenance of a customer data platform in partnership with Information Technology team
  • Lead initiatives to acquire new fan data and additional sources of existing fan data to be added to the database
  • Employ data governance methodologies to ensure cleanliness of fan database and its appropriate use, including dashboards to monitor and ongoing audits of system/processes 
  • Analyze customer database and segment into meaningful clusters that allow differentiation in communications within marketing and sales outreach 
  • Develop prioritized customer lists for sales teams and setup associated workflows within contact management systems, including training on contact system software
  • Mentor CRM team members and manage the day-to-day priorities of the CRM team
  • Create authentic and collaborative relationships across the organization while serving as main point of contact for internal clients and external vendors

Role Qualifications (Skills):
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in CRM, database management, data governance, and database marketing is required
  • 3+ years of experience with customer contact software for sales teams (e.g. Salesforce, KORE, etc.) is required
  • 1+ years experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred
  • Experience building, managing, and/or marketing a loyalty program 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data querying and coding languages; JavaScript, Angular, SQL, and Python preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in working on extracting, cleansing, and formatting customer audiences for marketing purposes
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to design and create analytical dashboards
  • Prior team management experience preferred
  • Experience with cross-team project management and prioritizing multiple tasks concurrently based on larger goals
  • Excellent communication skills and comfortable presenting with all levels of the organization
  • Strong time management, interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Positive team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
