 The Los Angeles Chargers Game Presentation internship is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in not just working in sports but entertainment as well. The primary focus of this position is to support the fan experience staff in their effort to engage the fans during Los Angeles Chargers home games. This is done through the production of high quality video features and motion graphics that will be shown on the stadium video screens. In addition, the intern will have game day duties which will include producing video shoots, editing on tight deadlines, managing in-stadium talent and other live event support as needed. The chosen person will receive experience in video production, post-production, research and content creation for non-traditional aspect ratios.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Video editing and motion graphic design
  • Lights, teleprompter and other production gear set up
  • Camera and audio recording
  • Logging and capturing archival footage
  • Provide miscellaneous administrative support as needed 
  • Assist with field presentation elements during pregame, halftime, and in-game efforts as needed
  • Working with outside vendors on various projects
  • Communicate with various organizational departments 

Required Skills:
  • Understanding of the video production process
  • Proficiency with Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Experience with cameras, lighting and audio equipment
  • Ability to develop creative and thematic projects
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Professional demeanor
  • Awareness of current cultural trends, music and events
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and all Chargers home games
  • Interest in the sports and entertainment industry a plus
Applicant must:
  • Be currently enrolled as a senior, or recent graduate (within 6 months) from a four-year college or university. Grad school students are eligible to apply as well.
  • Have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Have a current driver’s license
  • Be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week as well as game day/nights, weekends and other various events
