Social Responsibility Assistant

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won five division titles. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate, Fulham Football Club, All Elite Wrestling, Bold Events and Iguana Investments. Since 2012, Mr. Khan has had a positive impact on the Northeast Florida community through his investment in the team, capital improvements to EverBank Stadium and the creation of Daily’s Place, which hosts upwards of 40 concerts a year. Through the Jaguars Foundation, the Khan Family has donated more than $39 million to many worthy causes, including in three key areas of focus: neighborhood revitalization, youth development and NFL-league-wide initiatives.
The Social Responsibility Assistant supports the Jacksonville Jaguars' community engagement and philanthropic initiatives by coordinating employee volunteerism and advancing league- and club-driven social responsibility programs. This position oversees the Jaguars Employee Volunteer Program and collaborates with corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, and community stakeholders to develop and implement meaningful initiatives that leverage the power of football to create opportunities through advocacy, service, and community investment.
- Lead and create Employee Volunteer events, manage volunteer software, and provide impact reports.
- Assist in executing key social responsibility programs such as the NFL Changemaker Award, Jaguars Community Champion, and Inspire Change gameday programming.
- Provide general support for Social Responsibility by managing tasks, assignments, and projects relating to programs, events, and gameday functions.
- Coordinate with Player Development, Community Relations, and PR and help implement player-driven initiatives.
- Support nonpartisan voter education initiatives throughout the community.
- Assist in the management and reconciliation of shared department resources.
- Develop and foster meaningful relationships with community stakeholders.
- Assist and support Jaguars Foundation and NFL Initiatives as needed.
- Manage deep storage space and inventory
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working with youth in sports programs
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good standing driving record and valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to support frequent travel to community events, outreach initiatives, and other off-site functions throughout the Jacksonville area
- Comfortable working in a wide variety of community settings and building meaningful relationships with individuals from all backgrounds
- Able to lift up to 50lbs or more
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently lead engaging presentations and discussions for youth, adults, and community groups.
- Demonstrated passion for photography or content capturing
- Strong ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi-task to meet fluctuating demands and deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience in public policy, community relations, grassroots initiatives, or education
- Non-profit or community-programming background
- Strong sense of community
- Term: September 2026 to May 2027 (flexible)
- Part-time, temporary: 29 hours per week
- Applicants must be available to work on-site in Jacksonville, Florida for the entirety of their seasonal employment.
