 About the Jacksonville Jaguars 
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League’s AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL’s youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on September 3, 1995 in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won three division titles. The Jaguars are owned by Shahid Khan, a visionary leader whose businesses include Flex-N-Gate, Fulham Football Club, All Elite Wrestling, Bold Events and Iguana Investments. Since 2012, Mr. Khan’s impact on the Northeast Florida community has exceeded $500 million, including charitable giving through the Jaguars Foundation, capital improvements to TIAA Bank Field and the creation of Daily’s Place, which hosts upwards of 40 concerts a year.  Over the next several years, the Jaguars and Iguana Investments will build a new Sports Performance Center to house all football operations and launch Phase 1 of the Shipyards, a complete reimagination of the riverfront which will include a five-star hotel, office building and modernized marina.

Summary
The Jacksonville Jaguars are looking for game day events and entertainment staff to work each Jaguars home game played at TIAA Bank Field during the 2022 season in addition to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl college football game. Throughout the season, each staff member will rotate through different roles to create a well-rounded experience in various areas within the Events and Entertainment department. There also may be opportunities to work at other Jaguar events throughout the season as needed.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Events and Entertainment department in the execution of all elements in the Fan Entertainment Zone (the Jaguars pre-game tailgate and entertainment space in the Flex Field and amphitheater) and game day on-field entertainment (including but not limited to national anthem performers, flyovers, color guards, pre-game and halftime shows, sponsor contests, and other on-field presentations and promotions).
  • Examples of assigned roles include:
    • Fan Entertainment Zone set up and execution – Set up involves coordinating logistics with FEZ manager, liaising with sponsors on any last-minute needs, ensuring Flex Field drills and inflatables are set up safely and have all necessary equipment and setting up appropriate signage and branding. Once gates are open to fans, this position will help ensure things are operating smoothly and assist in executing Jaguars Legends and cheerleaders autograph sessions. Activate assigned station in the Fan Entertainment Zone: Football Toss, Obstacle Course, Waiver Table, etc.
    • Talent Management – act as a liaison to the National Anthem singer, ASL signer, color guard, flyover grounds crew and/ or halftime entertainment to ensure they are on time for their rehearsals/ performances, can navigate the stadium and back of house spaces, have the appropriate hospitality elements and enjoy their experience at TIAA Bank Field.
    • Field Flag Assistant – teach the participants the timing and reverential manner to unfurl the American field flags in a pre-game rehearsal to be performed on field prior to the National Anthem. Participants vary from the season ticket members, to military and first responders and other pre-selected special guests each game.
    • Various operational tasks such as prop movement for team introductions, premium item distribution, group sales events/ private hospitality assistance, set up and break down of signage and youth football equipment and other duties as assigned by the Jaguars Events & Entertainment and Bold Events teams.

Job Requirements
 Required
  • Junior or Senior in college, graduate level student or recent graduate
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, including holidays
  • Ability to lift 35+ pounds                        
  • Stand for extended period of time (3+ hours consecutively)
 Preferred
  • Previous experience in sports management and/or a game day atmosphere
