This position is responsible for supporting the overall data strategy of the Business Intelligence & Analytics department. The position will contribute throughout the whole data analytics lifecycle, including business system administration, data acquisition, data hygiene, reporting, predictive analytics, and business application. Additionally, the role will proactively find areas of opportunity to streamline internal processes, develop automation, and build scalable data solutions. A technical and analytical approach to problem solving and a critical thinking mindset will be key success factors for delivering unique and actionable business solutions.  This position reports to the Director of Business Analytics.
 Essential Responsibilities:
  • Acquire, organize, analyze, and present data from ticket sales, corporate partnerships, merchandise sales, loyalty programs, social media and website engagement, market research and various other business verticals.
  • Use SQL queries to retrieve business information, respond to ad hoc requests and develop business intelligence dashboards with assistance from internal BI team.
  • Oversee email marketing segments, including all communications from Dallas Cowboys, AT&T Stadium, and other Dallas Cowboys-related entities.
  • Perform database segmentation to target fans with relevant marketing communications
  • Aid in administration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM system by maintaining data integrity within the system, identifying opportunities for data integration between other source systems and building solutions to enhance the sales process
  • Support the continuous development of internal business data warehouse by identifying opportunities within ETL processes
  • Manage the data flow between the Cowboys core technologies (Microsoft Dynamics365, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Seat Geek) and the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate effectively with all departments to expand data usage throughout organization; establish reliable and meaningful reporting standards while providing quantitative and logical support as needed
  • Design research projects to answer specific business questions and to understand brand perceptions
  • Collaborate with BI team to build reporting dashboards and manage roadmap for new report requests and enhancements
  • Maintain and nurture our great relationship with NFL data team to ensure the Dallas Cowboys are league leading in usage of data and benchmarking against league performance thresholds
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Understand proper formatting of data tables and applying proper data validation practices.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools to deliver insights 
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
  • Experience with Alteryx a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and other Office products
  • Curious self-starter who learns new concepts quickly
  • Close attention to detail
