Administration/General Management: Administrative/Executive Assistant
Summary Description
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing executive and administrative support, in a proactive manner, to the Executive Vice President, Ownership (EVP).  The Executive Assistant will serve as the primary contact for all internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the EVP.  This role requires the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills.  The ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities is required.  The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.  
  • Ability to proactively manage an active calendar with an understanding of priorities to ensure time is managed accordingly. 
  • Ability to create and compile documents for meetings, including agendas, presentations, topic research and prep for anticipated questions. 
  • Ability to communicate directly with Club staff on the EVP’s behalf and coordinate logistics of high-level meetings, both internally and externally.  Coordinate meetings and strategic activities with executive staff from both the football and business sides of the organization. 
  • Plans, coordinates and ensures EVP’s schedule is followed and respected.  Serves as gatekeeper for all access to the EVP’s time and office.
  • Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the EVP, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.  Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.  
  • Proactive thinker who actively seeks and proposes recommendations to streamline and improve the EVP’s effectiveness and leadership. 
  • Help to prepare talking points for speeches or other press events (in conjunction with Media Relations Department). 
  • Ability to arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas.
  • Performs administrative duties/general office functions, including answering phone calls, mailings, composing letters and memoranda from verbal direction or from knowledge of organizational policy and procedures.
  • Assists with special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business-related field is required.
  • At least five years of experience supporting C-Level Executives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to respond to emails, create communications, follows-ups, agendas, presentation and one-pagers etc. 
  • Willingness to acquire a working knowledge of NFL rules and policies.
  • Love of sports and the fast-paced nature of professional football and soccer is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Emotional maturity.
  • Strong organization skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
