The Cincinnati Bengals are seeking an experienced and creative Sr Manager of Productions with excellent communication skills that can elevate the production team to produce best-in-class video content for all of the distribution channels managed by Bengals Studios. The ideal candidate will be charged with overseeing brainstorm sessions, technology recommendations, high-level metadata tagging, and most importantly, mentorship and guidance to the Bengals production team members. We are looking for a culture warrior who will lead our production team but also still loves to jump into an NLE to create engaging sports-entertainment videos.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Reports to the Director of Content
- Manage a team of producers to ensure the 1000+ video projects per year are executed at a high level and meet deadlines
- Hire seasonal production assistants and contractors to meet increased production demands
- Hold one-on-one meetings with producers frequently and annual performance reviews to identify opportunities for individual growth
- Utilize the Bengals task management system to assign out and properly tag shoots, edits, and footage requests
- Write, produce, and edit original content
- Conceptualize and produce long-form stories for Bengals programming including From the Jungle: Bengals All Access
- Script and storyboard project concepts
- Serve as executive producer on high-impact projects such as but not limited to season hype video, playoff video, marketing campaign projects, etc…
- Research and recommend production equipment
- Oversee Media Asset Management software, Iconik, and identify opportunities to improve department efficiencies with partnered integrator
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Five years of experience at a power-five athletics department or professional sports organization
- Three years of experience as a senior producer or manager at an organization
- Advanced knowledge of non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere preferred)
- Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop or other relevant multimedia software applications
- Advanced skill in working with cinema-style cameras; Alexa 35, RED, Blackmagic
- Advanced experience in lighting and set design
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple and diverse tasks in a high-energy environment
- Advanced experience in creative script and VO copy
- Demonstrated ability to use creativity from conceptualization to completion
- Ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects and activities with simultaneous deadlines
- Ability and internal drive to demonstrate a winning attitude and a strong work ethic in the performance of all job responsibilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with an NFL team
- Experience with both magazine-style shows, live shows, and all-access docuseries
- Strong understanding of social media trends and analytics
