The Cincinnati Bengals are seeking a Social Media Seasonal Assistant to support the day-to-day execution of the club’s social media presence during the 2026 Bengals football season - beginning Monday, June 1, 2026 and ending 2 weeks following the Bengals final game of the 2026 season. 

This role is ideal for a highly motivated, social-first individual who is eager to gain hands-on experience in professional sports while helping capture the energy of The Jungle across platforms.

Working closely with the Social Media team and reporting to the Senior Manager of Social and Initiatives, the Seasonal Assistant will help bring Bengals content to life through real-time coverage, content creation support, fan engagement, and trend-aware storytelling. This is a fast-paced, execution-heavy role for someone who thrives under pressure, loves football, and wants to learn how a professional sports social operation runs from the inside.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Social Media Seasonal Assistant position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:
  • Assist with day-to-day social content creation and publishing across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and Threads
  • Support the maintenance and execution of the social media content calendar
  • Help uphold and protect the Cincinnati Bengals’ voice and brand persona across all social platforms
  • Assist with live coverage of press conferences across owned social channels
  • Provide hands-on support for live, real-time social coverage during home and away games
  • Assist in identifying emerging social trends, platforms, and content opportunities
  • Support ideation and execution of timely, relevant content tied to current events and trending moments
  • Monitor fan sentiment and flag opportunities to improve engagement and reach
  • Assist with real-time fan engagement, including responding to comments and messages as directed
  • Help compile weekly performance metrics and social analytics reports
  • Attend games, practices, and brand events as needed to assist with content capture
 
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred areas of study include digital media, social media, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Strong passion for football and a working knowledge of the National Football League
  • Prior internship, seasonal, or entry-level experience in social media, digital content, or marketing preferred
  • Familiarity with major social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, Threads, and Snapchat
  • Experience capturing and editing photo and video content for social media; familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects preferred
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, real-time environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as required by the club schedule
  • Professionalism and comfort interacting with athletes, coaches, and staff in a team setting

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This position would be on location, 40+ hours a week, and seasonal to provide coverage for the 2026 Bengals Football season.

  2. Are you able to relocate to (or already reside in) the Cincinnati area and work in person at our office throughout the 2026 football season?

  3. Are you comfortable providing real-time, hands-on-keyboard social coverage during live events, including NFL games and press conferences?

  4. Do you have at least one year of hands-on social media experience managing and publishing content for a brand, organization, or team (not personal accounts)?

  5. Do you actively follow the National Football League and have a working knowledge of football, teams, players, and league culture?

  6. Do you have experience capturing and editing photo and video content yourself using Adobe Suite tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects?

  7. Are you comfortable engaging with fans and responding to comments and messages in real time from official brand accounts?

  8. Do you have experience reviewing social performance metrics and using analytics to evaluate what content is working and why?
