The Cincinnati Bengals are seeking a Digital & UI/UX Seasonal Designer who will play a key role in elevating the fan and customer experience across Bengals.com, the Bengals App, email, and other digital touchpoints. This role blends UX/UI design with strong digital graphic design skills, ensuring our platforms are visually compelling, intuitive, and aligned with the Bengals brand.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a strong visual design foundation, a passion for user‑centered digital experiences, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast‑paced environment. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.

This is an on-site, seasonal position during the 2026 Bengals football season - beginning Monday, April 27, 2026 and ending 2 weeks following the Bengals final game of the 2026 season. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:

UX/UI Design & Experience
  • Design and prototype wireframes, user flows, and low‑ to high‑fidelity mockups for web, app, and email experiences.
  • Enhance digital interfaces including web pages, landing pages, email templates, and app screens to improve user journeys and engagement.
  • Develop reusable templates and maintain consistent design patterns across platforms.
  • Optimize information architecture to support intuitive navigation and content discovery.
  • Ensure accessibility compliance and uphold visual consistency across all digital products.
  • Conduct user research and A/B testing to inform design decisions that drive conversions and fan engagement.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps by collaborating on feature enhancements and system integrations.
  • Document design processes and partner with the digital team for smooth implementation and handoff.

Digital Graphic Design
  • Design digital graphics for web, app, email, and social platforms that support marketing, partnerships, and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Apply strong visual design principles including typography, hierarchy, composition, and color theory to all digital deliverables.
  • Prepare and edit assets, including photo editing, resizing, and versioning for various digital formats.
  • Maintain brand consistency by working within established style guides and contributing to design system evolution.
  • Collaborate with Creative Services to ensure cohesive visual storytelling across digital channels.
 
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years of experience in digital design, UI/UX, or related fields; sports experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of visual design fundamentals (typography, layout, color, composition).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; InDesign and After Effects a plus).
  • Technical knowledge of website standards, CMS platforms, SEO best practices, and digital trends.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and solve problems creatively.
  • Extended evening and weekend hours required; must be available for all home and away games.
  • Portfolio required (PDF or online link preferred).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript preferred. 
  • Experience with the NFL CMS (Pocket) preferred. 
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics preferred. 
  • Motion graphics experience is a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This position would be on location, 40+ hours a week, and seasonal to provide coverage for the 2026 Bengals Football season.

  4. Are you proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign?

  5. Do you have experience working with website standards, CMS platforms, and SEO best practices?

  6. Do you have experience capturing and editing photo and video content yourself using Adobe Suite tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects?

  7. Do you have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?

  8. Have you previously worked with the NFL CMS (Pocket)?

  9. Do you have an online portfolio showcasing your digital design and UI/UX work? If yes, please provide the link.
