General Description: Continuing to maintain a strong season ticket base and sold out games are the primary goals of this position while maximizing revenue opportunities with all ticketed products. Renewing season ticket customers annually, selling hospitality products, leveraging individual ticket sales opportunities and attracting new customers are paramount to success. Success is accomplished with a strong focus on providing great service to customers and clients, supporting teammates and working within the Ravens mission, common purpose and organizational priorities.

The ideal ticket sales & hospitality director for the Baltimore Ravens has a proven track record of successful ticket sales year over year. The successful candidate is also focused on providing strong leadership and direction to a dedicated ticket sales staff tasked with selling a variety of ticketed inventory for Ravens games and other stadium events.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Product related sales responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Season Ticket Renewals – Focus on maintaining a consistent renewal percentage of over 99% annually.
- PSL & Season Ticket Sales – Maintain a sold out status by selling available PSL’s to wait list members or other new customers. Specific goals include season ticket sales over 65,000 and the club level sold out.
- Wait List Sales – striving to maximize the PSL wait list with up to 3,000 paid active members.
- Hospitality Tent Sales – Maintain and build a consistent book of clients while prospecting for new hospitality tent clients.
- Individual Hospitality Sales – Sell individual hospitality packages to smaller groups for non-Ravens events and Ravens games with softer sales.
- Group Sales – build a new group sales business with consistent book of clients.
- Individual tickets – identify creative ways to sell individual primary tickets in an environment that is heavily impacted by competition from the secondary market.
- Other Ravens Sponsored Event Sales including concerts, college football, college lacrosse, international soccer and others – Includes general ticket sales, groups and hospitality tents.
- Day of Game Suite Sales (when applicable, if available)
- Fan Development Related Events (i.e. draft, training camp, kickoff, etc.)
- Other Ravens-created or facility related products
Manage sales staff of 2-3 Ticket Sales Representatives and oversee ticket services staff as it relates to sales administration, logistics and execution, as well as the PSL Owner Rewards program.
- Setting individual & team goals and day-to-day team management and motivation.
- Contribute to establishing and managing appropriate sales incentives for staff.
- Provide appropriate support to teammates in the office as needed to help reach sales and renewal goals.

Proactive creation, implementation and execution of organized sales/promotional campaigns for any products to be sold by the ticket office. Includes the design and production of sales collateral for campaigns as appropriate.
Manage quality control of Ravens ticketing sales and products to ensure brand integrity.
Create, monitor and manage budgets for assigned sales related products.
Make and manage appropriate client and hospitality visits on game and event days ensuring a sales presence is strong.
Together with sales staff, monitor the external markets for PSLs, wait list positions and secondary tickets to have a strong sense and understanding of these markets. Promote the use of these markets as appropriate to fans to maintain market vibrancy.
Web Site Sales Content – Keep ticketing and sales pages on the Ravens website up to date and accurate.
Identify potential suite and sponsorship leads and provide to Suite Services & Sales.
Provide overall office support which includes phone coverage, account maintenance, customer service and filing.

Required Education and/or Experience:

The ideal candidate must have a proven ability to successfully sell tickets year over year. In addition, the candidate must possess the personality and drive to excel in a sales environment while showing the ability to work well in and contribute to a team setting. At least 5 years of successful sales experience and 3-5 years sales management experience is preferred. Prior experience with Archtics and Ticketmaster systems is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in sport management, business or related field is required.

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

Ability and desire to sell all ticketed products for the Ravens and other stadium events. An aggressive seller, that easily manages customer objections, while providing a strong example for direct reports and teammates. Sets a standard for conduct and work ethic for everyone in the office.
Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to provide detailed direction to staff on the expectations for each project, as well as holding them accountable to what is expected.
Ability to create, organize and manage sales leads from start to finish.
Willingness and ability to teach a staff of sales representatives and/or interns to maximize their contribution and professional development.
Understand the impact of culture on the workplace and adapt to the culture within the organization and office, while creating a complementary culture within the sales group that fosters success.
Relationship driven, energetic and passionate about football.
Excellent ability to communicate in all forms.
Ability to manage and organize data is a plus.
