Reports directly to the Vice President of Technology completing duties as assigned and including, but not limited to the following descriptions.
 
Summary: This position will support the Cardinals employees working at the stadium and the stadium staff overall to support daily operations and events at the stadium.  The main responsibilities for this position are supporting the technology systems for the company and the staff using them, including Ticketing, Concessions, Scoreboard, and the devices connected to them, and making sure users have access to the resources they need.  The position will be primary support for hardware and software issues and will work with the technology staff as needed. This position is also responsible for support and trouble-shooting problems the staff has with any technology.   Other responsibilities include game day duties during games and other event duties as required. 

Primary Job Duties:                   
  • Provides technical support for organization -  This includes software, hardware, networking, and training.  Configures, tests, and installs technology for new personal computer systems, printers, and other equipment.  Performs testing and support for all POS Systems.  Performs reviews and upgrades of existing personal computer systems.  Installs new hardware and maintains and supports existing hardware and software.  This will include working with vendors supporting POS, Menu Mgmt., and other systems.
  • Perform User Administration.   This includes Windows Server and ADS administration and support.  This includes making changes to user policies, profiles, and equipment to provide the access required with the most secure and efficient manner possible.  
  • Maintain integrity of systems and platforms -  This includes pro-actively making sure all systems are working properly and are updated with the latest security software.  Software and hardware must be tested before implementation. Logging software is monitored and tracked for all equipment.
  • Perform Network and POS support where required - This includes installing and maintaining hardware and software wherever required.  Recommendations are made on ways to improve functionality in these areas.
  • Document networks, requests, and problems  -  Computer configurations will all be documented.  All problems must be logged for future reference.  All new systems/software must be documented and inventoried.  This will allow the staff to respond more quickly to future modifications.  Creating this documentation is an important part of the job and must be done in a consistent and accurate manner.  Recommendations are made to improve the process and format.
  • Performs PC Support - This includes installing and maintaining PC hardware and software.    PC’s must be loaded with proper software and configured to take greatest advantage of current security and networking standards.  Virus prevention and security strategies will be used to safeguard the integrity of the PC’s and Servers and the data that resides on them.  Recommendations are made on ways to improve functionality in these areas.
  • Document networks, requests, and problems - All problem resolution must be logged for future reference.  All new systems/software issues must be documented.  Support requests are documented. 
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • An advanced knowledge of computer standards and practices, network controls, security prevention and detections, communication, organization, project management and auditing standards.
  • Effectively implement strategic planning initiatives, use analytical thinking to make critical decisions and solve real-world business problems.
  • Ability to handle extreme production demands as the standards increase in complexity and constant expansion.
  • Must be able to handle extremely high stress situations and timelines that sometimes require rigorous work schedules. 
  • A background in computer network operations.
  • High proficiency with technology systems, network configuration, Office and Email systems and backup software standards 
  • Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in a high stress, fast-paced, live production work environment.
  • Must be highly self-motivated and work non-standard hours - including traveling as needed.
 
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Technology with network management, computer support, project management, email systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
 
Experience: Minimum 3 years of technology specialties, including Windows technology network configuration and controls, governance, and security documentation experience. Sports Team experience, or event support experience helpful. 
 
Position Information:
This position is part of the Technology Team for the organization, and participates in supporting, implementing, and reviewing technology systems throughout the organization, with special attention paid to network systems and supporting events.  Must be a proactive problem solver, possessing a strong work ethic with an ability to communicate with all technical staff, as well as management and operational departments.
