Video Editor/Producer:
The Denver Broncos are seeking a highly-skilled, creative video editor, with advanced editing techniques and strong storytelling ability, to join our Content Production team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for editing a wide variety of productions including long-form single-camera documentaries, multi-camera studio-based talk programs and 30-second promotional videos for our broadcast, digital and in-stadium platforms.  As the lead video editor, this position requires the ability to review, provide feedback and ensure edited content maintains high-level standards.   As a feature Producer, this individual will pitch content ideas and find ways to creatively tell our stories, from concept through completion.  The ideal candidate will participate in the creative process and will be an essential teammate in a quality driven, fast-paced and dynamic environment.  This position requires strong working knowledge of the Adobe Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create, polish and refine all content to the highest technical and aesthetic standards, including sound design, color correction and other advanced editing techniques;
  • Develop creative content and follow the creation process to its successful completion;
  • Be a very strong writer;
  • Work closely with team producers and other editors on collaborative projects;
  • Understand project priorities and timelines;
  • Understand the culture, messaging and strategic communication processes associated with working for a professional sports team; 
  • Assist in live production of Denver Broncos television and in-stadium productions;
  • Produce compelling content on very tight turnarounds;
  • Work to establish best practices on effective and technical video editing techniques, as well as identify and recommend new audio/video technologies, by keeping current with technology and latest visual trends;
  • Other production and team duties as determined by production supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Fine Arts, English Literature or similar field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a editing and producing capacity (sports experience preferred);
  • Working proficiency within the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects; 
  • Experience with storytelling, scripting and program pitches;
  • Applied knowledge of video production workflow and process;
  • Critical awareness of video production standards and accepted practices;
  • Creative writing skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with strong attention to details;
  • Able to lead projects and individuals when called upon to do so;
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as required;
  • Innovative/creative thinker with enterprising ideas.
