ASSOCIATE GRAPHIC DESIGNER,

DALLAS COWBOYS MERCHANDISING

 

The Associate Graphic Designer for Dallas Cowboys Merchandising is responsible for creating innovative, visually impactful designs for digital and print that maintain the continuity and integrity of the Dallas Cowboys brand and other Jones family businesses. This role is a dedicated resource for Dallas Cowboys Merchandising and reports to the Director of Creative Services with oversight from the Dallas Cowboys Merchandise Marketing Manager.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently and collaboratively on multiple design projects to produce visually engaging assets for both print and digital media, including marketing campaigns, social media content, presentations, in-store signage, and more
  • Obtain and interpret project information to ensure all designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, as well as effectively communicate intended messages
  • Collaborate with the Visual Merchandiser to build in-store signage and visual decks that enhance the retail environment
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently, from concept to final delivery with minimal supervision
  • Produce original creative work and revise existing assets as needed to meet project requirements
  • Uphold and enforce brand standards, ensuring correct usage of Dallas Cowboys marks across internal teams and external vendors
  • Collaborate and support the graphic needs of other internal departments
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into revisions and final designs, making adjustments such as resizing, editing, or reformatting assets
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques, proactively bringing new ideas and improvements to the team
  • Research and recommend new creative ideas/trends during collaborative brainstorms to ideate and plan Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop marketing stories/campaigns and photoshoots

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Graphic Design preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of graphic design experience required – professional sports team experience a plus
  • Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environment
  • An established sense of layout hierarchy, spacing, and color strategy
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite on MAC platform – specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (motion and animation software skills a plus)
  • Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with competing priorities
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to communicate ideas from concept to completion
  • Able to proofread copy
  • Self-motivated with excellent focus on the task at hand
  • Able to handle constructive criticism and feedback with professionalism
  • Must work creatively and proactively within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary
  • Time management and ability to work flexible hours, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
