SUMMARY 

The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is hiring a passionate and proactive Systems Engineer to help power our technology operations. In this role, you’ll work on cutting-edge server, storage, and cloud solutions that support one of the most iconic brands in sports. You’ll evaluate and implement new technologies, troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, and keep our systems running smoothly—all in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners to evaluate and pilot emerging technology solutions that support strategic initiatives across multiple businesses.
• Install, configure, and deploy server, storage, and software systems.
• Monitor and maintain existing server, storage, and cloud infrastructure systems.
• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and inventory. Create new processes as needed.
• Participate in and occasionally lead technology implementation and maintenance projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Provide technical direction and Tier 3 escalation support to IT support and project teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations for maintenance tasks such as server patching.
• Provide on-site support for large events such as Pro and College football games, concerts, and more.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

• BS in an Information Technology related field is preferred.
• 7-10 years’ relevant work experience in a Systems Engineering or Administration role with proven experience in the following areas:
  • HPE Server and Storage systems
  • Storage Technologies: Fiber Channel, ISCSI, NFS, S3
  • VMware vSphere 8
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016-2025 and related technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Linux
  • Infrastructure Monitoring and Backup solutions

• Experience deploying physical and virtual servers, storage, and software solutions in both on-premises data centers and cloud environments.
• Experience working with cross functional and multi-vendor project teams for large migration projects is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting creative media storage solutions for Video and Graphics teams, along with any familiarity with creative media workflows is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication with stakeholders and team members of various backgrounds and experience levels.

• Ability to research, test, and implement new products, technologies, and solutions quickly.
• Availability after-hours, weekends, and holidays to support various business maintenance windows as well as sports and entertainment events at AT&T Stadium and The Star in Frisco.

TECHNICAL SKILLS and Preferred Certifications:

• Networking as is applied to all aspects of VMWare, Windows Server, and Azure subscriptions.
• Experience building and maintaining Microsoft PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI scripts. Experience with PowerShell DSC is a plus.
