The Senior Director of Corporate Partnership Sales is responsible for 1) managing, coaching, and developing the Corporate Partnership Sales Team 2) generating new business and renewal corporate partnerships sales via the Corporate Partnership Sales Team and directly as assigned 3) serving as the Executive Sponsor on assigned House Accounts 4) collecting outstanding sponsorship fees 5) Managing the P&L for all sales related activities.  The Senior Director of Corporate Partnership Sales reports to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and is a member of the Corporate Partnership Department Leadership Team.

                                                                                                       

Job Duties: 

  • Create and maintain a culture that facilities both personal and professional growth within the corporate partnership sales team.

  • Manage, coach, and assist the Corporate Partnership Sales Team throughout the entire sales process

  • Deliver on revenue targets for new business and renewal sponsorships via the Corporate Partnership Sales Team and directly as needed/assigned.

  • Develop the annual revenue plan for the Department

  • Responsible for creative direction of sales presentations

  • Participate in current and prospective client presentations, meetings, and conference calls in support of the Corporate Partnership Sales Team

  • Manage the SOPs for the sales team

  • Identify new business leads and categories for the Corporate Sales Team.

  • Develop, in collaboration with the Corporate Partnership Management Team, new business outreach campaigns

  • Serve as the Departmental Executive Point of Contact on Assigned Accounts 

  • Lead accounts receivable process

  • Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of all sponsorship inventory

  • Plan and manage accounting items related to the Corporate Partnership Sales Team

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of successful experience in sports marketing sales or related field (e.g. advertising sales).

  • Success in developing/building relationships with a creative and consultative approach and demonstrating high business acumen across multiple industries

  • Handle multiple tasks, prioritize goals, and create a sense of urgency

  • Ability to work frequent evenings and weekends and to travel and estimated twenty percent (20%) of the time

  • Receive high level scores on 360-degree feedback regarding the management from direct reports

  • Ability to engage with C-level executives and ownership

  • Reinforce positive “team” culture as a leader within Corporate Partnership Department

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skill
