The Pick Mod Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Pick Mod Manager in managing day-to-day functions of the pick module.  The Pick Mod Coordinator reports to the Pick Mod Manager.

Job Duties: 

 

  • Track customer orders in picking pending or prior status
  • Proper knowledge of prioritization of orders based on level of shipping grade
  • Drive a performance-based environment, metric driven by utilizing/analyzing real time data
  • Partner with Manager as needed to set daily unit goals for Pick Mod throughput
  • Communicate with management regarding customer picks’ progress
  • Troubleshoot problem orders
  • Manage staff’s productivity, deliver timely feedback/recognition and partner with Manager for escalated corrective actions when necessary
  • Correct/Report inventory discrepancies in the MOD via cycle counts/reconciles
  • Ensure High Value picking area (cage) is maintained secured
  • Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to people, processes, and performance
  • Partner with Manager to own Training program and assess comprehension or identify any further development
  • Partner with Leads and QC auditors to delegate tasks and goals to team
  • Attend meetings such as alignment, debrief, and 1-on-1 TBs
  • Perform other functions and activities as directed by Management
  • Participation in frontline EHS program required
  • Check emails for shift handover and any notices that may need to be covered during huddle
  • Verify check out of rf scanners from the scanner room and log
  • Turn on all conveyors (1st Shift) and conduct MOD walk through
  • Use reports to identify and communicate priorities, unit goal, NRG projects and expected departure time
  • Partner with leadership team to host huddle, share goals, priorities, and feedback from previous day’s SRS report and any Handover notes
  • Short any containers reported to Compliance Log after IQC approval
  • Troubleshoot any Aged replens, transfers and/or returns
  • Complete Reconciles
  • Delegate and send out all Priority orders with an expected time of completion
  • Partner with Induction team and Leads to ensure all supplies are fully stocked/accessible
  • Promote and enforce Weekly Safety Topic by handing out Safety cards and immediately addressing unsafe actions using Observation cards
  • Promote and enforce Weekly Quality Topic by making observations and immediately addressing anyone that are not compliant
  • Periodically check emails
  • Ensure Keys to Cage are in drawer and cage is closed
  • Turn off all conveyors (2nd shift) and conduct MOD walk through
  • Verify check out of rf scanners to the scanner room and update log
  • Send Shift handover log to Pick Mod email group, Victoria, and Tevin

Requirements:

 

  • College degree or experience preferred
  • Previous administrative and warehouse experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining high levels of productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering support to team members as needed
  • Able to work flexible hours and occasional overtime
