The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our Applications team as a Business Systems Engineer. The Business Systems Engineer is responsible for identifying and implementing solutions based on business needs along with day-to-day technical support for the Applications team.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives
  • Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
  • Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
  • Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users, which includes troubleshooting, fault rectification, and problem management and escalation.
  • Provides effective and timely resolution of users’ problems, queries, or complaints.
  • Assists in software evaluation and recommends upgrades or improvements.
  • Work with business stakeholders to utilize applications to their fullest potential
  • Assist users with business process changes and improvement initiatives
  • Stay informed of new features and enhancements of applications as well as integrated platforms
  • Provide end user training to internal IT staff and/or business units
  • Maintain a high-level of communication to accurately manage expectations, timelines and ensure satisfaction
  • Prepare documentation related to IT systems and processes

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related field, or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience as ServiceNow admin preferred
  • Manage multiple priorities at once across multiple customer areas
  • Skilled in observation, analysis, and interpretation of technical information
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Available to work standard office hours
  • Available to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
