Position Profile: KC Wolf Seasonal Assistant

Status: Seasonal, Hourly 
 
JOB SUMMARY: The Kansas City Chiefs are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and talented individual to serve as the KC Wolf Mascot Seasonal Assistant during the 2024-25 season.  The ideal candidate would have experience performing as a mascot; possess excellent non-verbal communication skills, athletically and physically fit, and have a creative and humorous personality.
 
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Help to Market and Promote KC Wolf Appearances.
• Help organize and execute KC Wolf game day responsibilities at Chiefs home games
• Contact schools, churches, nursing homes, and day cares to schedule KC Wolf speaking programs.
• Opportunity to gain in costume experience by dressing up as KC Wolf to occasionally do promotional, charity and other community events.
• Assist KC Wolf at Chiefs events and other community appearances.
• Help to create and develop new revenue sources for the mascot program.
• Help to create new and exciting KC Wolf mascot skits for game days.

• Must have a working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and have internet research skills. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light office duties and activities.
• Ability to perform in the KC Wolf costume which weighs approximately 30lbs and is designed for an individual at least 5’11’’ or taller.
• Able to work in a moderate to loud environment during events.     

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS):

• Previous mascot experience.
• Ability to perform in the KC Wolf costume.
• Ability to travel around the Kansas City area to attend community events.
• Positive individual who is punctual and enjoys working with the public (especially kids).
• Qualified candidates must be reliable and energetic with the ability to work around a flexible schedule.

HOURS REQUIRED:  

• Flexible schedule required.  40 hours per week including all Sunday home games.
