Job Summary: The Kansas City Chiefs are seeking a strategic and creatively minded Brand Marketing Seasonal Assistant to help shape how the Chiefs build meaningful relationships, specifically with younger fans—locally, nationally, and across platforms. This position will also support wider brand-led campaigns outside of youth marketing as needed.
This role will lead the development and evolution of youth-focused brand platforms, helping transition them from primarily local, experiential programs into national, multi-channel brand ecosystems. This position will also assist in ideation and execution of brand-led campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker and collaborator—someone who can help build platforms and programs that are aligned with youth culture, family dynamics, and young audience engagement tendencies, while staying rooted in the Chiefs’ broader brand strategy.
Reporting to the brand marketing coordinator, this role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, experiential marketing, and multi-channel execution, supporting long-term fan development and the organization’s ambition to be The World’s Team.
Core Responsibilities
Youth Brand Strategy & Platform Development
- Support the development and evolution of the Chiefs’ youth brand strategy, positioning youth as a priority growth segment within the broader brand ecosystem.
- Help build and scale youth platforms (e.g., Kingdom Kids), contributing to their evolution from local, event-led programs into more national, multi-channel brand platforms.
- Translate broader brand strategy into youth-relevant programs and experiences that align with youth culture, family dynamics, and young audience engagement tendencies.
- Partner with insights and analytics teams to incorporate learnings about youth and family audiences into platform planning and execution.
Campaigns, Experiences & Multi-Channel Execution
- Contribute to the planning and execution of youth-focused and brand-led campaigns, activations, and experiences across key moments in the season and calendar year.
- Support the expansion of youth engagement beyond in-market events into content, digital, social, and experiential touchpoints that reach fans nationally.
- Collaborate with Content, Social, Digital, and Partnerships teams to ensure youth and brand initiatives are integrated across channels and aligned with brand standards.
- Assist in identifying and activating youth-appropriate creator, influencer, and talent partnerships, in partnership with senior brand leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Brand Stewardship
- Work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Community, Events, Partnerships, and PR/Communications to support youth and brand initiatives.
- Help ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visuals across all youth-facing touchpoints, while allowing for creativity and playfulness where appropriate.
- Act as a thoughtful internal partner—bringing youth and family considerations into broader brand conversations and planning sessions.
Measurement, Learning & Optimization
- Support the development of KPIs and measurement frameworks tied to youth engagement, participation, and brand affinity.
- Track performance and engagement across youth initiatives, surfacing insights and recommendations to optimize future programming.
- Stay informed on cultural, platform, and category trends impacting youth and family audiences, sharing relevant insights with the broader team.
Qualifications & Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
- Previous experience with planning large-scale events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Qualified candidates must possess superior organizational skills and be able to function in a fast-paced, multi-task setting.
- Must have a working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Availability to work all home games for Chiefs 2026-2027 NFL season
