Football Operations Coordinator

Reporting to Manager of Football Operations, Football Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing confidential secretarial and administrative support to football operations staff and will act as a key contact for football operations inquiries. This role will assist the football operations staff with general management, meeting schedules, and organizational needs to assist in keeping them focused on key priorities.

Major Responsibilities:

General receptionist and administrative duties including responding to inbound inquiries, distribution of mail, and loading dock pick up.
Assist in player onboarding. This includes transportation to/from the airport.
Organize and distribute player contact information.
Restock and order office supplies as needed.
Restock and order kitchen supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area.
Communicate with cleaning company on cleaning schedule, etc.
Assist General Manager, Head Coach, and coaches with expense reimbursement.
Assist with the distribution and maintenance of coaches’ vehicles.
Obtain and distribute stadium passes for players and staff.
Prepare and distribute family lounge and parking passes for players and coaches.
Maintain meeting rooms schedule of availability.
Assist with post game meal set up and take down.
Communicate with the team Chef regarding player meals.
Coordinate and help players and staff obtain Social Insurance Numbers.
Distribution of player checks.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

Enrollment or completion of post-secondary education in business, administration, or sports management
One year experience in a similar office environment
Experience in sports or recreation is a definite asset
Proven organization skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Proficiency in using computer software including spreadsheets, databases, internet-based systems, email, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team, but also able to work alone with little assistance
Have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Willing to travel with the team as needed
Availability to work irregular work hours and work schedules
