Business Operations Administrator

Term Role – December 2021 to December 2022

As we embark on an exciting year in 2022 with hosting the Grey Cup at home in Regina, we are looking for a passionate, hard-working individual to join our Business Administration-focused team. This role would provide support to various departments such as, but not limited to, Human Resources, Business Administration, and the extremely exciting, Grey Cup 2022.

Reporting to and working closely with the Executive Assistant, President & CEO, this role is a unique position that helps provides the Club’s business operations with the crucial administrative and front-facing support to keep things running smoothly and efficiently! This position is a key Brand Ambassador who supports many facets of the organization to ensure maximum efficiency and high-quality customer service both internally and externally.

Where will your talents be focused? (includes but is not limited to)

Provide administrative support to all business departments to ensure overall success of the Club’s operations. Overall support of organizational needs is provided through a team environment to all departments, in addition to this role being accountable to provide dedicated support to specific departments like Human Resources and Grey Cup 2022. This support will include, but is not limited to:

Calendar management and meeting facilitation
Support to projects, documentation and correspondence where required.
Data-entry, notes or minutes of meetings when applicable.
Hospitality aspects such as gifting, hosting and support of events or being a key contact point to ensure stakeholder and Rider Nation experiences are best-in-class.
Duties and projects as assigned
Providing back up and support to all roles and responsibilities within the Business Administration department, including front line support in reception, external inquiries, and overall office magic facilitation.
Provide Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable support in areas such as invoicing, credit card reconciliations, and expense tracking as needed
Influence organizational culture through professional and positive behaviours that set the tone for the office environment by:
Adhering to and supporting Club policies
Consistently demonstrating the Club’s mission, vision and values in all actions with both internal and external personnel
Supporting and living the Club’s commitment to high quality customer service for both internal and external customers
Support Rider programs, initiatives and events as assigned. This may include: internal and external meetings, special, staff-led events and game days.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned

What’s needed to be successful in this role?

Completion of Business Administration degree diploma, or equivalent preferred
1-2 years of experience working in an office environment and completing administrative duties considered an asset, but not required.
Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite programs, printers and multi-line phone systems
Exhibits passion for both internal and external customer service and strives to exceed expectations by providing a WOW experience
Be able to understand and respect the Administrator’s role as a key touchpoint for all Club interactions. Approachability, trust, and reliability are key rockstar traits we are looking for!
Solution-focused approach with a passion to seek out information and approach challenges with a methodical approach
Proven communication and organizational skills to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Promotes a culture of trust, integrity and open communications while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills to develop a positive team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to listen, ask appropriate questions and remain patient with difficult clients or in complex situations.
Ability to proactively anticipate needs of the organization to ensure full efficiency of office operations
A willingness to learn and grow to continuously improve on existing processes and procedures.
Demonstrates an upbeat and positive demeanor while remaining professional
Ability to work irregular business hours including all game days
Passion and drive reflective in all work
