Coordinator, Youth Soccer Initiatives & Group Sales
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinator, Youth Soccer Initiatives & Group Sales will be responsible for the day-to-day ticket department and account support, whilst sharing the vision for soccer and particularly youth soccer in Canada. The primary focus is on supporting the growth of group ticket sales and providing overall direction of youth soccer in Hamilton
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The expectation is that the candidate will be active and responsible for the following areas:
- Growing the current youth soccer portfolio and improving on results of group tickets sold
- Prospect new youth soccer relationships to improve on results of group tickets sold
- Prospect new Forge FC ticket sales across other Forge FC ticketing products, such as premium products and season tickets
- Renewing current season seat members
- Contribute towards the various ticketing weekly/monthly targets
- Strive for success in personal ticketing goals
- Administration and support of season seat members
- Relationship and account management of current youth soccer partners
- Manage deliverables in accordance with partner packages
- Account management in the ticketing system and the CRM system
- This individual will be an important ambassador for the club. Candidate must be willing to attend community events in the soccer community that engage with Hamilton’s youth, with a specific focus on partner clubs
- Other Tasks/Duties – Actively participate in Forge FC gameday experience; attend all Forge FC home games, and will also assume other job function-related duties not specifically defined in this offer as assigned by the candidate’s direct report

- Exceed ticketing sales goals
- Grow and develop partner club program and portfolio to drive ticket revenue and community impact
- Deliver a great partner club relationship experience through problem solving, creativity, vision and communication
- Positively contribute to the overall culture of the ticketing team
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE)
Job Specific Skills and Abilities:
- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience working within a youth soccer club or grassroots organization
- A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in group ticket sales
- Previous experience in hitting and surpassing sales targets
- Previous experience prospecting for new business
- Ability to manage executions within agreements and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage and create new relationships
- Have a shared vision of the role grassroots soccer plays in the ecosystem in Canada
- Be passionate about soccer
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, business, sports administration, or other related disciplines is an asset
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
- Will be required to work all home games, as well as weekends and evenings when necessary
- Always required to have access to a personal reliable vehicle and have their own full driving license (class G)
