Position Overview
Hamilton Sports Group is seeking a Retail Operations – Warehouse & Online Coordinator to support both back-of-house retail operations and online merchandise fulfillment. This role plays a key part in driving retail sales by ensuring efficient inventory management, seamless distribution to retail outlets, and a strong online customer experience—while also contributing to our event-day retail operations.
Reporting to the Manager, Retail Operations, this position is ideal for a detail-oriented, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, sports and entertainment environment.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise from suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Accurately enter and maintain inventory data within warehouse tracking systems
  • Label, shelve, and organize product in designated warehouse locations
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
  • Safely move, organize, and transfer inventory to retail locations to support sales and events
Retail & Event-Day Support
  • Ensure all retail outlets are properly stocked and prepared for games, matches, and events
  • Support event-day retail operations, contributing to a positive fan and customer experience
  • Assist with merchandising logistics to maximize sales performance
Online Store & Fulfillment
  • Manage day-to-day online shop operations, including order fulfillment and shipping coordination
  • Prepare shipments, schedule carriers, and complete shipping documentation
  • Assist with online merchandising initiatives, including product photography, pricing updates, and website presentation
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving the online customer experience and driving e-commerce sales
Team & Operations Support
  • Assist with hiring, training, and day-to-day supervision of part-time and event retail staff
  • Follow all company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by Retail Operations leadership

Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, retail operations, or e-commerce fulfillment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, sports marketing, retail management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable lifting and moving merchandise as required
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, POS systems, or e-commerce platforms is an asset
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and all Tiger-Cats home games, Forge FC games as required and all additional HSG stadium events
