The opportunity

Forge FC is looking for an Account Executive to grow group sales, new season memberships and other business-development programs. You will prospect across local businesses, schools, youth sports, unions, community and newcomer groups, associations and employee-appreciation programs—then turn those conversations into relevant experiences that bring people together around Forge FC.

This role is equal parts disciplined outreach, consultative selling and reliable service. You will develop new concepts, build a qualified pipeline, close business and work with internal teams to ensure each commitment is delivered smoothly.

What success looks like

  • Individual and Ticketing team revenue goals are achieved or exceeded across season memberships, groups, premium products and new business.
  • A qualified, diverse prospect base is built through targeted data, outbound outreach, meetings, referrals and networking.
  • Group concepts and tailored experiences create measurable attendance, revenue and fan-engagement opportunities.
  • Every lead, touchpoint, source, commitment and follow-up is accurately maintained in Salesforce.

What you’ll own

  • Prospect, engage and close new season-membership and group business through targeted outreach, meetings and networking.
  • Develop group themes, programs and tailored experiences for businesses, schools, youth sport, community organizations and other audiences.
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue and prospecting goals across assigned products.
  • Build long-term client relationships by understanding needs, recommending the right solution and providing responsive service.
  • Maintain complete and timely sales activity, pipeline and client records in Salesforce.
  • Partner with Ticket Operations to ensure group and season-membership transactions are processed and fulfilled accurately.
  • Collaborate with Ticket Sales & Service colleagues on campaigns, lead development and shared revenue priorities.
  • Represent Forge FC at sales, networking and community events to generate new business and strengthen relationships.
  • Attend Forge FC home matches and support group activations, hospitality and other business-development initiatives.

How you’ll work

Reporting to the Director, Ticket Sales & Service, you will manage a personal pipeline while collaborating with Ticketing, Ticket Operations and match-day teams. You will balance proactive new-business activity with accurate administration and dependable service through the full client journey.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated outbound sales experience with evidence of building a pipeline, closing business and meeting revenue goals.
  • Strong prospecting instincts and confidence initiating conversations with different business and community audiences.
  • Clear communication and the ability to translate client needs into practical ticketing or group-experience solutions.
  • Strong organization, time management and follow-through across multiple opportunities and deadlines.
  • A relationship-first approach that supports both acquisition and long-term client value.
  • Comfort working with performance goals, sales activity measures and accurate CRM practices.
  • A valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record and reliable access to a personal vehicle.
  • Assets—not requirements
  • An established personal or professional network in Hamilton and the surrounding region.
  • Experience in professional sport, live events or another ticketed, membership or customer-focused environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Archtics or comparable CRM and ticketing platforms.
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, sport administration or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.

What you can expect from HSG

  • A clear connection between your business-development work and the growth of Forge FC’s fan community.
  • Hands-on experience across prospecting, solution development, ticketing operations and match-day delivery.
  • The opportunity to create group concepts for a wide range of business and community audiences.
  • A collaborative sales environment with shared goals, regular coaching and visible results.
