About Hamilton Sports Group

Hamilton Sports Group (HSG) brings professional sport and live entertainment together through the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Forge FC. Based in Hamilton, Ontario, we create memorable experiences for fans, partners and community—on game day and throughout the year.

Our teams are grounded in proud histories and focused on what comes next. We are building a connected, modern organization where strong ideas travel across teams, decisions are informed by insight, and people work together to grow the game and our impact in Hamilton and beyond.

The opportunity

Forge FC is looking for a relationship-driven sales professional to grow and care for our premium client community. This role combines new business development, membership retention, account management and match-day hosting, with a clear focus on creating premium experiences that clients value and want to renew.

You will build thoughtful outreach strategies, develop premium programs and guide prospects and members from first contact through delivery. This is an opportunity to connect commercial ambition with high-quality service while representing Forge FC across Hamilton’s business and soccer communities.

What success looks like

  • Premium membership, single-match and multi-match sales goals are achieved or exceeded through a healthy, well-managed pipeline.
  • Premium members receive responsive service, strong match-day hosting and reasons to renew and expand their relationship with Forge FC.
  • New programs and client experiences generate qualified interest, revenue and measurable learning for future campaigns.
  • Salesforce, Archtics and FEVO records provide an accurate view of activity, commitments, follow-up and results.

What you’ll own

  • Prospect and close new premium memberships using targeted outreach, referrals, networking and creative sales strategies.
  • Manage premium member relationships with a focus on retention, renewal and relevant upsell opportunities.
  • Grow single-match and multi-match premium purchases by matching clients with the right experience.
  • Host premium clients on match days and help deliver a polished, welcoming experience.
  • Create and support programs that use ticketing and hospitality to generate revenue and deepen client engagement.
  • Support client-appreciation events and other in-season and off-season experiences.
  • Respond to client questions and coordinate solutions with Ticket Operations and other internal partners.
  • Maintain accurate account and program records in Salesforce, Archtics and FEVO.
  • Represent Forge FC at internal, external, networking and business-development events.
  • Contribute to individual and team sales goals while sharing insight that improves the overall premium strategy.

How you’ll work

You will work across Ticketing, Ticket Operations and event teams to connect sales commitments with strong delivery. The role requires ownership of a client portfolio, disciplined follow-through and a visible presence at Forge FC home matches and relevant community or business events.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated success in outbound business-to-business sales, relationship development or account management.
  • A service mindset and the ability to build trust with premium clients before, during and after the sale.
  • Clear, confident communication in written, phone, virtual and in-person settings.
  • Strong organization and consistent follow-through across multiple prospects, members, events and deadlines.
  • Commercial creativity—the ability to shape programs and experiences that create value for clients and revenue for the club.
  • A collaborative, self-directed approach and the judgment to operate effectively in a fast-moving live-events environment.
  • A valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record and reliable access to a personal vehicle.

Assets—not requirements

  • Experience in professional sport, live events, hospitality or another membership-based business.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Archtics, FEVO or comparable CRM and ticketing platforms.
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, sport administration or a related field—or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian soccer landscape and enthusiasm for Forge FC.

What you can expect from HSG

  • A role that connects premium sales, account strategy, hospitality and live-event execution.
  • Direct relationships with clients and the opportunity to shape experiences from concept through delivery.
  • Exposure to the commercial operations of a growing Canadian professional soccer club.
  • A collaborative environment where initiative, client insight and disciplined execution matter.
