Summary:
This role is responsible for generating new revenue for the Edmonton Elks Football Club across all ticket products, including group tickets, premium seating, season seats, and more, with a primary focus on B2B sales and group tickets. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who excels at consultative selling, thrives in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment, and is passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating impactful experiences for fans and clients. 

Job Duties

  • Drive revenue by selling all Edmonton Elks Football Club ticket products, including group tickets, premium seating, season seats, ticket packages, and single game tickets
  • Prospect and qualify new leads through calls, meetings, emails, networking events, and referrals to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients through regular communication (phone, email, text, and in-person meetings) 
  • Present customized ticket and experience packages that align with the unique needs of corporate and group clients
  • Create, develop, and execute sales campaigns and group initiatives to support revenue growth
  • Manage and maintain CRM and pipeline effectively 
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales objectives and performance targets set by manager
  • Meet or exceed daily outreach and touchpoint requirements
  • Provide outstanding customer service during all fan and client interactions, addressing concerns in alignment with the Club’s policy
  • Collaborate with stadium operators or other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives
  • Prepare and submit required sales reports, updates, and other administrative tasks
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, training programs, 1:1s with manager, and networking events
  • Coordinate with other departments on deliverables to maximize sales opportunities
  • Support the customer service team with retention initiatives or high-volume campaigns as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Game Day Duties:

  • Work all Edmonton Elks home games 
  • Assist in premium and other required areas to ensure client and fan satisfaction
  • Coordinate with stadium operators as required
  • Visit and engage with key clients and contacts
  • Support ticketing sales in the Team Store as needed
  • Participate in set-up and tear-down, including physical labour (must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly)
 

Skills & Abilities

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling client relationships and confidential information
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills 
  • Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Archtics and HubSpot or other CRM software experience would be an asset
  • Must be able to operate in a highly dynamic environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales quotas and meeting and surpassing these targets
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
 

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of sales experience (preferably in local sports, entertainment, hospitality, or B2B environments)
  • Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Experience with sports ticket selling is considered an asset
  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree
