Summary:
Represent the Edmonton Elks Football Club for the promotion and sales of ticket products. The expectation is to sell all ticket products, including season ticket packages, mini packages, group sales, premium seating, and casual tickets.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for the sale of Edmonton Elks Football Club ticket products, specifically season seats, mini packages, premium seating, group tickets, and single game tickets
  • Continually develop new business through prospecting techniques and outgoing contacts
  • Build relationships with prospective and existing clients by phone, email, text, and in-person to generate revenue from ticket sales
  • Create, develop, and execute sales campaigns or group initiatives
  • Manage and maintain CRM and pipeline effectively 
  • Achieve sales objectives and targets set by manager
  • Meet daily touchpoint requirements
  • Provide outstanding customer service during all fan and client interactions
  • Address customer issues/complaints in accordance with the Club’s policy
  • Work with stadium operators or other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives
  • Prepare and submit all required sales reports and other related administrative tasks
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, 1:1s with manager, and networking events as required
  • Coordinate with other departments on deliverables for sales initiatives
  • Assist the customer service team with renewals or high-volume campaigns as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
 

Game Day Duties:

  • Must be able to work all home games 
  • Work in premium or other required areas to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with stadium operators as required
  • Visit key clients and contacts
  • May be required to help with ticketing in the Team Store
  • Help with set-up and tear-down, which includes physical labour (must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly)
 

Skills & Abilities

  • High level of integrity in dealing with customers and confidential information, and the ability to represent the Edmonton Elks Football Club in a competent and professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong prospecting and rapport building skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, but comfortable completing tasks independently
  • Assertive, self-starter with proven ability to manage time wisely
  • Archtics and Salesforce or other CRM software experience would be an asset
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Must be able to operate in a highly dynamic environment
  • Willing and able to work evenings, weekend and holidays as required
  • Sports experience preferred
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive sales quotas and meeting and surpassing these targets
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
 

Requirements

  • Completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree
  • Business and industry sales experience with a minimum of one-year related sales experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time and territory management skills
  • Experience with sports ticketing selling is preferred
