POSITION SUMMARY:
The Canadian Football League is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Account Manager, Partnership Marketing to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will provide exceptional client service to key partner accounts, overseeing and leading the delivery of marketing and sponsorship programs, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and measurable results.
RESPONSBILITIES:
- Lead and manage key client relationships to deliver exceptional service and foster long-term partnerships.
- Lead execution of partner contract deliverables; including but not limited to season-long partnership campaigns, broadcast assets, digital assets, in-game promotions, contesting, and events.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives that align with partner and league objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Monitor and analyze sponsorship performance, translating data into actionable insights to support strategic partnership decisions and lead client reporting initiatives.
- Manage financial resources to achieve maximum cost-effectiveness in project execution.
- Support the business development team in contract renewals and new business initiatives.
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of account management experience.
- Experience in the sports and entertainment industry or within an agency is a strong asset.
- Solid understanding of core marketing concepts, including sponsorship activation, valuation, program customization, and performance measurement.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality and achieving successful outcomes.
- Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with diverse personalities and work styles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Strong attention to detail, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically, as required.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
- Hybrid Model: The incumbent will be required to attend the office in accordance to the CFL Hybrid Work Policy. In addition, you are required to attend meetings and other business events at the office or other venues as business needs dictate.
- Work Schedule: Due to the nature of the business, the incumbent must be available and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
- Travel: Must be able to travel, as required. Must be able to travel for an extended period around Grey Cup and stay in the host city. May be required to travel during the season to select CFL cities for other CFL events. Must have a valid driver’s license.
EXPECTED COMPENSATION:
- The expected compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000, which includes base pay plus bonuses and variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position and should serve simply as a guide. The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as candidate experience, skills, budget, location, etc.
