The BC Lions are seeking an energetic and reliable mascot performer to represent the club at games and community events. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Able to maintain character while upholding a professional standard

·      Engage with fans, especially children, in a positive and enthusiastic manner

·      Work closely with a mascot spotter to ensure safety for both performer and guests

·      Participate in suite visits, crowd prompts, dancing, photo opportunities and other in game elements

·      Support additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

·      Available for all BC Lions home games

·      Flexible schedule with availability for evenings and weekends

·      Strong ability to express personality, energy and emotion in a non-speaking role

·      Confident improviser who can adapt quickly while staying in character

·      Comfortable performing in front of large crowds and interacting one on one with fans

·      Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of performing in costume

·      Able to work independently when required

·      Previous mascot or performance experience is an asset

·      Clean criminal record check required

·      Valid driver’s licence

·      Minimum 18 years of age
